''New Generation'' Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization (henceforth Organization) is a form of non-commercial social union established in 1998, where according to their community of profits and fixed by law, physical persons unite to satisfy their religious, spiritual or non-material and other recruitments to protect their and others rights and profits: to provide material and non-material assistance for public and its individual groups: to realize other society useful activity.

The objectives of the organization are legitimacy, publicity (transparency), voluntary membership, equality of members, self-governance, and collegiality of leadership (management).

The organization has its own organizational structure, scope of activities, goals and forms.

During its existence the organization has realized many projects. It is considered to be one of the most active organizations not only because of the variety of the projects, but as it has abilities to cover the whole Armenia. It has proper staff, technical developed equipment, and office-branch in Shirak region and representation offices in all regions of Armenia.

To organize and implement such programs and events which are addressed to the solution of the society’s problems.

Advocacy and Human Rights Protection - Human rights protection and advocacy - Promotion of fight against bullying, stigma and discrimination - Promotion of solutions of issues of vulnerable groups - Strategic litigation - Monitoring of peaceful protests - Monitoring of legal cases - Review and analysis of laws - Preparation of alternative reports on human rights to be presented to state and international institutions and diplomatic bodies.

Legal consultation - Free consultations are given to civil, criminal and administrative cases. It includes oral and written consultation, formation of appliements and appeals. - Formation of legal documents (application, appeal application, complaint against decisions of administrative bodies, letter requesting information). - Providing representation (advocacy and representation) - Strategic cases (In order to restore the violated rights of Strategic Planning and Implementation of trial).

Support to prevention of HIV and AIDS Duties of doctor-experts: - Pre-test consultation - Testing for HIV - Post-test consultation - Sexually Transmitted Infections Consulting. Duties of outreaches: - Provision of free condoms - Provision of free lubricants - Provision of information about safe sex relations - Direct to a doctor-specialist

Provision of Subgrants

Since 2015 NGNGO provides subgrants to formal and non-formal groups contributing to integration of non-profit organizations, vulnerable groups and individuals in the development of democracy.

Social / Humanitarian projects Since 2002 "New Generation" Humanitarian NGO implements numerous charitable projects. More than 1000 families have been provided with second hand clothes, hygienic and sewing accessories, children from socially vulnerable families had been provided with stationery. Some families had also been provided with financial assistance. From 2003 to 2014 these projects were implemented with financial support of Armenian Offices of International Relief and Development and UMCOR.

Exchange Projects Since 2002 NGNGO implements exchange projects both in Armenia and abroad for participants aged 16+ from different regions of Armenia.

Activities in penitentiaries - Monitoring - Examination of the problem with the serving the sentence: detention cnditions, health problems, food, hygiene - Preparation of conclusions and reports. - Legal consultation and support.

Provision of Shelters to LGBTI People - Since June 2015 "New Generation" Humanitarian NGO provides temporary shelters to LGBTI people who have been subjected to persecution, violence by members of their families.

Target Groups and Beneficiaries: - LGBTI / MSM - Migrants - IDOs - Refuges - Sex workers (both men and women) - Victims of trafficing - People with HIV - Ethnic and religious minorities - Women - Detainee - The youth - Prisoner

The organization is a part of many Networks and Committees: Local International  Armenian Anti-discrimination working group  HIV-positive people co-founder of a  Founder of Advocacy group for protection of regional network of legal assistance rights of IDOs  Eurasian Coalition on Male Health (ECOM)  Founder of the Armenian LGBT advocacy  Member of the group of MSM and EECA coalition  Member of the Global forum on MSM and HIV  Member of the Group of public monitors  Eurasian Harm Reduction Network implementing supervision over the criminal- executive institutions  Member and co-founder of the Armenian human rights protection network  Member of the South- network of human rights defenders  AIDS advocacy and a member of the research group

The organization strongly underlines the necessity of the cooperation with different kind of organizations as it creates friendly environment for the implementation of common objectives, experience sharing, etc. During the past years the organization has cooperated with local, national, regional and international organizations which enhances its capacity and makes it to be more flexible and social. This creates opportunities to clarify the weaknesses of the organization and to give response to them immediately.

2008 – 2013 Boys Reaching Out (BRO) Summer School conducted by the New Generation NGO in collaboration with the Peace Corps and support from the Democracy Commission Small Grants program of the U.S.

October 25, 2010, September 15, 2010 «UN For You» campaign-project gifted to 65 anniversary of UN financed by the UNDPI. «Clean Armenia» project – 100 volunteers from Gyumri city cleaned the Koshtoyan street. The project was supported by the UN Office in Armenia, „Center for Organizing Youth Initiatives in Shirak region“ State non for profit organization of Armenia and the municipality of Gyumri city.

October-December 2008 “Community Service and Volunteerism”(CSV) project conducted by New Generation NGO in collaboration with the Peace Corps and support from the Democracy Commission Small Grants program of the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, Armenia.

February 2003 Together with Gyumri based “Kantegh” NGO, “Light Future” NGO, we implemented “Up-to-date” project. Financed by Armenian Center of Human Rights Protection after A.D. Sakharov and Cordaid organization.
