CAST BIOS

PATRICIA RICHARDSON (Maggie Tannenhill) – is best known for her portrayal of Jill Taylor on the long running series “Home Improvement” in which she co-starred with . For her work on the series, she received four Emmy® nominations and two Golden Globe® nominations as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. While performing in “Home Improvement,” she also co-hosted the Emmy® Awards with Ellen DeGeneres. In 2009, the cast members of “Home Improvement” received a Fan Favorite Award from the TV Land Awards. She has also received a Vision Award and a Women In Film Award in Texas and commendations from the Prism Awards for her work in the show. For two years, she had a recurring role in “” as Sheila Brooks, Sen. Arnold Vinick’s () chief of staff. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for her role in “Ulee’s Gold,” opposite Peter Fonda and directed by Victor Nunez.

Previously, Richardson garnered rave reviews for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe’s mother in the CBS miniseries “Blonde.” She played twins in “Viva Las Nowhere,” co-starring Danny Stern and , which was released on video under the title “Dead Simple” and won a Seattle Film Festival Award. She received more great reviews for her role in Lifetime’s “Sophie & the Moonhanger,” co-starring Lynn Whitfield and Jason Bernard and “Undue Influence,” with Brian Dennehy. Other films include “ Angels,” “In Country” and “Beautiful Wave.” She was brought out to from New York after several years of doing theater, first by and then Alan Burns, to do three different series prior to “Home Improvement” - “Double Trouble” for Lear and then “Eisenhower and Lutz” and “FM” for Burns.

Richardson took some time off from her career to get her kids through school and returned to work a few years ago when the youngest went off to college. She has happily returned to the East Coast to do theater. She did The Graduate first for the Cape Theatre, then the world premiere of ’s Apples and Oranges, directed by for MTC and the Alliance Theatre. She recently starred in the Off-Broadway production of I Forgive You Ronald Reagan at the Samuel Beckett Theatre.

Richardson was born in Bethesda, Maryland and was one of the four daughters of a Naval aviator, who became an aeronautical engineer and corporate executive. The Richardson family moved around the country frequently while Richardson was growing up. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where she received a B.F.A. in Acting. She met several people at SMU that she ended up working with later in New York such as the playwrights Jack Hefner (Vanities) and (). Richardson originated parts in New York in Henley’s The Wake of Jamie Foster and The Miss Firecracker Contest, as well as Loose Ends by Michael Weller, Fables for Friends by Mark O’Donnell and Cruise Control by Kevin Wade. She received her Equity card from Arthur Laurents when she first arrived in New York and auditioned for Gypsy with . She understudied Gypsy for a year, but never went onstage on for the part.

Richardson is the National Spokesperson for CUREPSP and serves on their Board of Directors. PSP is the rare brain disease that killed her father and she has been working to raise money and awareness for all brain disease, particularly the “tau” related ones such as PSP, Alzheimer’s and TBI. ###

KATRINA LAW (Greta) – Katrina Law is making an impression in Hollywood. Her stunning good looks and unshakable talent have earned her roles in such notable television series as “CSI: Miami” (CBS), “Legend of the Seeker” (ABC) and “Chuck” (NBC). She has also earned supporting and lead roles in such independent films as “Knuckledraggers,” “Lucky Numbers,” “Emmet’s Mark,” “The Learning Curve” and “Bottom Feeders.” Law was most recently seen starring as Mira in the hit series “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” and “Spartacus: Vengeance.”

Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey, Law was raised by a Catholic father of German and Italian decent serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and a Taiwanese Buddhist mother. For eight years, she was a member of The Tournado Dance Company in Pitman, N.J., where she spent four to five hours a day studying ballet, tap, modern, jazz and flamenco. Law attended The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, where she received a B.A. in Theater. At 19, she was cast as “Cassie” in A Chorus Line (Triple Threat Theater) and it was then she knew she wanted to act. Law honed her skills in theater for several years and received two Irene Ryan A.C.T.F. nominations for her work as “Olivia” in Twelfth Night (Stockton Theater Fest) and as “the Bride” in Blood Wedding (Stockton Theater Fest).

In 2001, Law landed her first television role on the NBC series “Third Watch.” Law notes that out of all the projects she has done, the most rewarding was “The Resistance” directed by Adrian Picardi. Her work on “The Resistance” would eventually lead to STARZ taking note of her for their new series in development, “Spartacus.”

JORDAN BELFI (Ben Tannenhill) – Jordan Belfi is best known for his work on HBO’s hit series “Entourage,” in which he played Adam Davies, the chief nemesis of Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven). He was recently seen in “The Millionaire Tour,” opposite Dominic Monaghan and Agnes Bruckner, about a kidnapping victim who must convince his captors that he is not the man they set out to murder. He was also seen in the hostage drama “Pawn” opposite Ray Liotta and Forrest Whitaker, as a detective trying to secure his brother’s release. In “Chlorine,” Belfi played a suspect entrepreneur who cons Vincent D’Onofrio and Kyra Sedgwick into making a bad investment, causing their family to lose everything.

Other films include “Surrogates” opposite , “Bedrooms” opposite Moon Bloodgood, and “Christina” opposite Stephen Lang. Belfi’s recent TV credits include recurring roles on both “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Castle,” as well as guest spots on “Burn Notice,” “Hawaii Five-0” and “Bones,” among others.

Born and raised in Southern California, Belfi has always had a passion for TV and film. He studies film and theater at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He continues to act in theater productions throughout Los Angeles when he has the time and is also forging a career in directing in both film and theater.
