DADDY’S HOME Tony Rubino and Gary Markstein YOUR Contract Bridge HOROSCOPE By Jaqueline Bigar

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018: This year you break past established boundaries. You seem to be able to incorpo- rate new ideas that work well and surmount obstacles. Others admire your ability to cut past the frivolous to the relevant. They also appreciate your authenticity. If you are sin- gle, you attract many wannabe sweeties. DUSTIN By Steve Kelley and Jeff Parker You need to follow your heart; go where you want to be. If you are attached, the two of you grow past problems and maintain an openness that revives your bond. A fellow LEO demonstrates the intensity and fun- loving nature of your sign. The Stars Show the Kind of Day You’ll Have: 5-Dynamic; 4-Positive; 3-Average; 2-So-so; 1-Difficult ARIES (March 21-April 19) HHHH Confusion comes up with a mis- understanding. Both sides see a situation very differently. A new beginning becomes possible after you wipe away all the various SCARY GARY Mark Buford perspectives. Do not mull over the situation; instead, go off and pursue a favorite pas- time. Tonight: Act like it’s date night. TAURUS (April 20-May 20) HHH You might be more grounded at the moment than you realize. You have been involved with so much unpredictability that you have difficulty associating your life with stability. You are likely to decide on a new beginning in your personal life. Tonight: Happiest close to home. GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Crosswords HHHH Reach out to key friends and loved ones. You could feel a lot differently DOGS of C-KENNEL Mick and Mason Mastroianni than they do about a project or hobby. You might not want to verbalize what you are thinking and feeling about their plans. Ask questions, if need be. Tonight: You can find amusement nearby. CANCER (June 21-July 22) HHHH You see life from a new perspec- tive. A child or loved one often distracts you; he or she is so full of life and instinc- tively comes toward you. Worry less about plans. Be with those who most delight you. Share strong feelings. Tonight: Try to stay level, even if you feel a little off. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) HHHHH You feel the pressure of a solar eclipse in your sign. Usually, this type of B.C. Mastroianni and Hart phenomena can cause an immediate drain- ing of energy. It also could point to a new life path. Understand where you are coming from if you are feeling difficult or grumpy. Tonight: Ask and you shall receive. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) HHH You feel as if you do not have the control you would like. You might feel oddly positive. Guard against overcompen- sating in an attempt to deal with a problem.
