2.THE INDIAN FORESTS SERVICE (FIXATION OF CADRE STRENGTH REGULATIONS, 1966

In pursuance of Sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Indian Forests Service (Cadre) Rules, 1966, the Central Government hereby makes, in consultation with the Governments of the States concerned, the following regulations, namely:-

1. Short title and the commencement.-

(i) These regulations may be called the Indian Forests Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966. (ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st October, 1966.

(2) Strength and Composition of Cadres.- The posts borne on, and the strength and composition of the cadre of the Indian Forests Service in each of the States shall be as specified in the Schedule to these regulations.
