There were 178 registrations from more than 40 organizations/Institutions across the country but due to technology limitations of the hosting web platform, only 100 participants could be accommodated at one particular time. The Webinar lasted 3 hrs. INAUGRATION:- Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Invertis University Dr. Y. D. S. Arya and Executive Director, NIDM, Major General Shri Manoj Kumar Bindal, as Patrons for the Webinar, jointly inaugurated the Webinar. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 1.1 INTRODUCTION Oriental College established in the year 1964 by the Mohammadan Education Society, which was founded in the year 1884 under the inspiration of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, is a Muslim Minority College recently affiliated to Patliputra University (earlier from Magadh University). Since the start of journey the college is running smoothly and the number of students both boys and girls is increasing satisfactorily. It is the oldest Muslim Minority Degree College of Bihar having permanent affiliation to Patliputra University (earlier from Magadh University) approved by the Govt. in Arts, Science and Commerce faculties up to Honors standard.Teaching and Non-Teaching staffs of the college are getting salary as per U.G.C. pay scale by the Bihar Government, with all retirement benefits, such as pension, Gratuity and Group Insurance etc. The College has its own well- built four storeyed building constructed as per U.G.C. plan and well equipped laboratories in Science and Arts. The College is stretched in 1.13 acres of land at Guzri, Patna City, on the main Ashok Rajpath of Patna City. The College is imparting education to the people of all walks of life. Students from Danapur to Mokama and even from different states of India come here to get education.
