CRONE - THE VIRTUAL REALITY FILM, 2017-2020 Producer, Writer, Director, Choreographer. Crone is a hybrid: part film, part fashion film, part music film that uses orchestral music, visual art and dance to tell a story of transformation. Fueled by a desire to help dance, music, and all performing arts reach new audiences, Crone will be shot with 360 degree capture technology to create a Virtual Reality film. A cross-media project, Crone will also be made as a traditional film for release to festival and theaters, and a live-performance version of the work was presented by University of Texas Department of Theatre and Dance in November 2017. Crone received grant support from the City of Austin Cultural Funding Division.

VIRTUAL COLOR FIELD - FILM COLLABORATION WITH AUSTIN CAMERATA, RELEASED APRIL 30, 2020 Film Producer. A collaboration between Red Nightfall Productions and Austin Camerata featuring five string musicians and five dancers filming their collaborations while quarantined during the time of COVID-19. Dancers hailing from a diverse range of dance traditions (Heels Technique, , Contemporary , , Dance Theatre) interpret the music of Johann Sebastian Bach while exploring themes of in a time of social distancing.

VENTANA BALLET SPRING 2020 SEASON - LEAP - FEBRUARY 2020, FIRST STREET STUDIO THEATER, AUSTIN TEXAS Artistic Advisor and Choreographer, setting new works and performing with Ventana Ballet.

THE WATCHMAKER’S SONG - AN INTERACTIVE REIMAGINING OF THE NUTCRACKER - NEILL-COCHRAN HOUSE MUSEUM, DECEMBER 2019. Choreographer, Dancer, Director, Co-Producer. A collaboration between Red Nightfall Productions and Ventana Ballet featuring Duke Ellington’s iconic re-imagining of Tchaikovsky’s score offered an immersive, interactive, culturally responsible interpretation of The Nutcracker. Performed to sold-out audiences, this was the second year of a production designed to become an Austin tradition, with concept and execution ever-evolving. CHOREOGRAPHER - SINFONIA - AND CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, DANCE REPERTORY THEATRE’S ‘FALL FOR DANCE’, B. IDEN PAYNE THEATER, DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE AND DANCE, UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN - NOVEMBER 2019 Choreographer, Producer, Sinfonia, the revision and expansion of the 2018 ballet set to Shostakovich Chamber Symphony Opus 110 (orchestration of the 8th String Quartet). Sinfonia honors the life and legacy of composer Dmitri Shostakovich, who, like countless artists throughout history, pursued his life’s work in the context of a socially, politically, psychologically oppressive environment. Nine dancers shared the stage with nine string musicians, interacting and intertwining in a meditation on the journey from oppression and isolation to community and freedom. FACULTY PRODUCER - COHEN NEW WORKS FESTIVAL - APRIL 2019 A biennial festival and the largest collegiate showcase of its kind, the Cohen New Works Festival 2019 showcased 38 original, student-produced works in five days on the University of Texas campus. The Festival exists as an incubator for innovative and original forms of theatre, dance, music, film, design, visual art, architecture and a wide variety of alternative mediums.

APRÈS UN RÊVE - BALLET FOR ‘DISRUPT’ - VENTANA BALLET, MARCH 2019 A collaboration with pianist and composer Kamila Swerdloff and cellist Daniel Kopp, this exploration of alternate realities and states of being is set to the music of French composer Gabriel Fauré. INVENTION IN THREE PARTS - VIRTUAL REALITY MOTION-CAPTURE FILM - AND CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR - FALL FOR DANCE, B. IDEN PAYNE THEATRE, NOVEMBER 2018 Choreographer, Director, Co-Producer with UT Radio-Television-Film faculty Deepak Chetty. In collaboration with UT3D, this film created with motion-capture data from BFA Dance students premiered alongside a live dance performance. The film was also shown in Virtual Reality as an installation using Oculus Rift VR headsets.

SHOSTAKOVICH 8TH STRING QUARTET - UNTITLED NEW DANCE WORK WITH 16 MUSICIANS, ROLLINS THEATER, MAY 2018 Choreographer, Dancer, Co-Producer. In collaboration with Butler Music School chamber group Austin Camerata, this new work for 5 dancers and 16-piece conductor-less chamber orchestra premiered at The Rollins Theater at Austin’s Long Center for the Performing Arts. With dancers and musicians sharing the stage and relating physically, this work explores the life of Dmitri Shostakovich and his conflict with the mid-20th century Soviet state. CRONE - THE CONCERT, MARCH 17TH, 2017 Producer. Live performance of the original score for the film Crone. Received with a standing ovation at Bates Recital Hall on March 17th, 2017, the score for 25-piece orchestra was composed by Sam Lipman, MM in Composition at the Butler School of Music. The concert was accompanied by an exhibit of costume renderings from the film, designed by Aaron Kubacak, MFA in Costume Design. Storyboards by BFA in Design Collin Sees, Department of Art and Art History. Crone is a collaboration of artist of the College of Fine Arts at The University of Texas.

COLOR FIELD - 5 SOLO WORKS FOR MUSICIAN AND DANCER BASED ON THE WORKS OF ELLSWORTH KELLY, APRIL-MAY 2017 Producer, Dancer, Choreographer. A series of solo Bach pieces played by string instruments and solo dancers, exploring physical and emotional relationships on stage together. A collaboration with Butler School of Music’s chamber group Austin Camerata, and BFA students, alumni, and faculty. Costumes by MFA Aaron Kubacak. Performed at the Blanton Museum, Rotunda of the Texas State Capitol Building, and Imagine Art Gallery, Austin, Texas.

STRING CIRCLE (DANCER, CHOREOGRAPHER, PRODUCER) - 2016 - BATES RECITAL HALL, BLANTON MUSEUM OF ART, SXSW 2016 A collaboration involving Butler Music School’s Cordova [String] Quartet, dancers from the Department of Theatre and Dance, MFAs in Dance, Integrated Media and Set/Costume Design, and students from the Department of Radio-Television-Film: a performance of dance, music, and making of a documentary film premiered as ‘pop-up’ performances in public spaces during the SXSW Music, Film and Interactive Festival 2016, and at The Blanton Museum of Art. Music by Kenji Bunch.

In collaboration with UT MFA candidate lighting designer Chian-Ann Lu. Dancer in guest artist and veteran of Cedar Lake , La La La Human Steps, and du Grand Theatre du Geneve Manuel Vignoulle’s world premiere, Maximizing the Audience.

WRITER, DIRECTOR, ‘PRELUDE’ - A SHORT NARRATIVE FILM, AUGUST 2015 A first film-making effort and experiment with a hybrid genre - a mix of silent film and dance. This film is a 7 minute narrative film without dialogue, set to Chopin’s Prelude #15 for Piano. It is similar to silent film in that there is no dialogue and it is filmed in black and white - and, like a ballet, the narrative elements of the plot are ‘choreographed’ to occur in specific places in the score.
