The Trust has drawn its experi- ence in running various colleges over the period of 20 years with the vast knowledge in the ield.
Backed by state of the art infrastructure and combined with expertise and experience of the high proile faculty, we have grown in to an Academy of repute within a short span of time. More than 1700 students are studying under the various institutions of Shifa Medicare Trust. The Trust is also proud to highlight the fact that we have moulded and delivered, to the community, true professional with high standard.
The Trust is also constituted as minority Trust for the welfare and uplifting of the public in general and the members of the community in particular with the institutions covered under minority status, Govt. of India. Shifa Medicare Trust under its stretched wings has following educational institutions situated at two main Campuses namely, Keezhattur and Lemon Valley in Perinthalmanna, o ering quality education in relevant ields.

Al Shifa College of Arts and Science is the latest in a series of educational ventures from Al Shifa group. After establishing the admirable credentials in the ield of Health Care, Paramedical, Nursing and Pharmacy Education, We are stepping into ield of Arts and Science education at college level with a view to establish a Master Campus at Kizhattur, Perinthalmanna, Malappuram. Located on a sprawling 30 acre serene and green surrounding, the campus aspires to rewrite the teaching-learning practices at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels and establish a line of programmes aimed at tackling the intel- lectual and career needs of the emerging world. Al Shifa College of Arts & Science plans to introduce game changing programmes which will be genuinely contemporary and internationally sought after.
At its launch, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science o ers 4 UG Programmes in the Arts and Commerce streams: B Com Finance, B Com Taxation, BA Function- al English and BA Economics. These programmes are chosen considering their demand on the career front and capacity to cater to the needs of the industry and academia. The Al Shifa Experience will stand out with equal emphasis on Arts, Sports and Games for the students.
Our content delivery, interaction and engagement with the students will be towards building a relationship which empowers the young to know one self and to know the world, to upskill themselves and to be career ready and life ready. In the emerging highly competitive world, there is obvious need to produce dynamic minds who can adapt to the changing scenario and complex situations and are innovative enough to face the diverse challenges e ectively.
The Shifa Medicare Trust is also conscious of its social responsibility in strengthening India's roots i.e., the youth. Today, careers are no longer clearly deined. Young men and women are at the threshold of their career where they can make important decision to choose a course as a stepping stone for future. Of course, it is a tough situation but it is no less tough to decide the Institution whose standard of teaching is outstanding and exemplary in determining where one chooses to study the course.

Al Shifa has a well dedicated team of management with two decades of impactful experience in healthcare and education sectors. All the institutions under this management are in forefront in Kerala for infrastrucure and result etc.

Experienced and dedicated faculties including retired professors from eminent colleges to guide the students to excel in curricular and co-curricular activities. The Contin- uous Professional Development Cell (CPDC) ensures their upskilling and updation regularly.

AL SHIFA COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE (ACAS) PROJECT QUALITY CELL ‘UG Project Excellence Awards’ are presented annually for the best projects undertaken by the Students. The award is sponsored by PTA. Selection of the best project will be based on internal and external valuation. The selected projects will be reworked in the form of essays or articles to be published in a book with ISBN Number, each year.
LIBRARY The college library has good collection of books on various subjects. Prominent journals and periodicals are also subscribed. A digital library facility including latest software too is also available at the library.
SEMINAR HALL & AUDITORIUM The college has a well-equiped seminar hall with LCD projector and sound system. The college has an auditorium in the campus with the seating capacity of 600 persons. The college will conduct various national and international seminars and exhibitions for the students for learning and skill devolopment.
COMPUTER LAB Computer lab is available in the college for students. Internet facility is provided in the computer centre. Various certiicate courses are also provided related with IT to ensure the career rediness of students. The Language lab of the college is attached to the computer centre. It also enables the e-content development and online teaching.

HOSTEL
Hostel facility is available for girls inside the campus for a prescribed fees.
TRANSPORTATION Bus facility is provided from Perinthalmanna & Pandikkad to the College. Those who wish to avail the transport facility have to enroll and pay the prescribed bus fare.
Dress Code The College has an approved pattern of dress which is binding on all students. All students should keep modesty in dressing by keeping away from using indecent dresses.
Action Against Ragging As per the UGC regulations, ragging in any form is stictly forbidden. Ragging of any nature is a non-bailable o ense and will have to face criminal procedure. If any incidents of ragging / abetting ragging by any students come th the notice of the authority, it will be immediately reported to Police.
Usage of Mobile Phone Use of mobile phones inside the campus is restricted and violation of the rule will result in coniscation of the phone and levying of ines.

Admission
50% of the seats will be on merit according to the University rules and the remaining 50% will be illed by the management. Selection to the merit seats is done by the University of Calicut through the single window programme and all candidates have to apply online through the University website. Candidates seeking admission under the management quota should apply in separate application forms which can be had from the College oice on payment of RS 200/-. A candidate selected should appear for interview with the following;

University CAP registration is compulsory for all categories of admission including management quota. Orginal certiicates are to be produced at the college at the time of admission.
