Background of the Study According to Rachman (1997:793) obsessions are defined as “instructive, repetitive thoughts, images or impulses that are unacceptable and unwanted and give rise to subjective resistance the necessary and sufficient conditions are intrusiveness, internal attribution, unwanted and difficulty of control” (Rachman & Hodgson, 1980:251). Typical obsessions include fear of contamination as from handshakes, worry about leaving things in their proper order, persistent doubts about one's responsible behavior, scary images involving violent acts, and images of sexual acts. People with obsessions may find themselves acting in compulsive ways in largely useless efforts to relieve the anxiety associated with their persistent, unpleasant thoughts. Others suffering from obsessions may try very hard to control or ignore them. It is important to note that worries about daily concerns paying bills, studying for exams, keeping a job, interpersonal relationships are not obsessions. Although they can occasionally be carried to obsessive lengths, these concerns can change with circumstances and, in most cases be controlled, with planning, effort, and action. Obsessions relate to problems that most 1 2 people would consider far removed from normal, daily events and concerns. A literary work can be defined as a branch of literature dealing with words as raw material to create a picture, an idea or a story in a meaningful pattern. Yet words, being the backbone of the pattern, are not really of great importance if they aren’t carefully manipulated into good syntactically structured sentences so can deliver the target idea in an artistic way. It is meant that the work is valued as work of art with a literary style which is, of course, different from that we use in colloquy.

Therefore it is worth for us to put effort on analyzing what factors correlate to revenue, so that producers, directors and actors know how to get higher revenue on next movie by focusing on most correlated factors. Our project focuses on anaylzing all kinds of factors that correlated to revenue, for example, genres, elements in the movie, popularity, release month, runtime, vote average, vote count on website and cast etc. After analysis, we can clearly know what are the crucial factors to a movie's revenue and our analysis can be used as a guide for people shooting movies who want to earn higher renveue for their next movie. They can focus on those most correlated factors, for example, shooting specific genre and hire some actors who have higher average revenue.
