He last appeared as Haemon in These Seven Sicknesses, his first show as a member of the Bats. Before becoming a Bat, Matt recently appeared as the Porter in Red Shark/White Rabbit’s Macbeth, and the Kid in The Management’s Songs for a Future Generation. He will be appearing in the upcoming webseries Scout & Maggie. He is also a playwright: recently, his short Boldly Go was featured at Brooklyn’s Brick Theater. Veracity Butcher (Josie) is a native New Yorker. Recent credits include Karen O’s Stop the Virgins (St. Ann’s Warehouse), William S. Yellowrobe’s Thieves (The Public), and Tommy Smith’s Demon Dreams (The Gene Frankel Theater). In addition to performing on The Flea stage, she has performed at Dixon Place, 45 Bleecker, La Mama, and The Atlantic Theater. She is seeking representation for legit Theater and Film work. veracitybutcher.com. Eric Folks (Wyatt U/S) has previously been seen at the Flea in Just Cause, The Flying Latke, and #serials@theflea. Other credits include A Man of No Importance (Gallery Players), Almost Maine (New London Barn) and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Otterbein). He is a graduate of Otterbein University. Danny Rivera (Charlie U/S, Dave U/S) is one of the newest recruits to the Flea Theater, and is very excited to be a Bat! Will Turner (Wyatt) NY credits: Friends Don’t Let Friends (LTR Theater) and These Seven Sicknesses (Flea Theater). He is a recent graduate of Yale University, where he served as Artistic Director of the undergraduate experimental theater group and developed and performed in a one-man version of Henry V. Email: [email protected] Wilton Yeung (Charlie) is proud to be back on stage with the Flea. Other Flea credits include Unum by Will Eno, Office Hours by A.R. Gurney, Just Cause, and being part of the #serials@theflea. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University where he studied theater. THE CREATIVE TEAM Jeffrey M. Jones (Playwright) works include 70 Scenes of Halloween, Nightcoil, Der Inka Von Peru, Tomorrowland, a series of crazy plays, Write If You Get Work, J.P. Morgan Saves The Nation, a musical with a score by the late Jonathan Larson, directed by Jean Randich, Stone Monkey Banished, commissioned by the Mettawee River Theater Company, and A Man’s Best Friend, produced by the Undermain Theatre in New York and Dallas. His essays have appeared in The American Theatre Reader, Performing Arts Journal, and as introductions to the anthologies Plays by Young Jean Lee and New Downtown Now. He has been manager of The Wooster Group, Richard Foreman and John Jesurun; taught playwriting at the Yale School of Drama and a series of Pataphysics workshops at the Flea Theater; and is currently co-curator of the OBIE-winning Little Theatre Series at Dixon Place. Page Burkholder (Director) is honored to be working at the Flea and with the Bats. In New York, she has directed plays by Mac Wellman, Mary Gallagher, Sherry Kramer, Athol Fugard, Joan Shenkar, Jeffrey Jones and Camila Jones and also worked for the Public Theater, the Women’s Project, Theater for the New City, Julliard, Clubbed Thumb, White Bird Productions, the Ohio Theater and New Dramatists. She was a long time member of the Invisible Theater in Tucson, Arizona, and started their Shakespeare Under the Stars festival. Jonathan Cottle (Lighting Designer) is a theater artist. He has worked with companies such as the Foundry theatre, Half Straddle, Object Collection and at Incubator Arts Project, the Bushwick Starr, Abrons Arts Center, LaMama, and Here Arts Center. Whitney Locher (Costume Designer) Recent credits include Fiasco Theater’s Cymbeline (TFANA/Barrow Street); A Bright New Boise, After. (Partial Comfort Productions); Jubilee, The Merry Widow, The Fortune Teller (Ohio Light Opera); Boeing-Boeing (Sierra Rep.). Other companies: The Drama League, Kansas City Rep., The Hangar Theatre, Northern Stage. Up next: Nymph Errant (Prospect Theatre Company).
