Eaton Renews NASCAR® Craftsman® Truck Series Sponsorship of No. 59 Diver Terry Cook

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that it will be returning as an associate sponsor of the No. 59 HT Motorsports Melling Engine Parts Toyota Tundra driven by veteran Terry Cook for the entire NASCAR® Craftsman® Truck Series (NCTS) season. The 2007 campaign gets started Friday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m., with the running of the Chevy Silverado HD 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

The No. 59 Toyota Tundra will feature the Eaton logo mark prominently on the rear quarter panel to highlight Eaton’s presence in automotive performance markets.

“This is a great opportunity for us to build awareness of Eaton and highlight our performance- related product portfolio,” said Tom Nellenbach, marketing manager for Eaton Performance Products. “Our Detroit Locker® differential and Aeroquip® performance hoses and fittings are used exclusively throughout NASCAR, and this sponsorship will allow us to reach millions of loyal racing and high-performance fans.”

HT Motorsports recently signed Cook as the new wheelman for the No. 59 Toyota Tundra and veteran crew chief Danny Rollins for the entire season. Cook began his career in the NCTS nearly a decade ago and has earned himself a place among NASCAR’s top competitors posting six wins, seven poles, 26 top-five and 90 top-10 finishes. Cook also holds the record for the most consecutive starts in the series, beating out previous record holder Rick Crawford (210) with 222 starts. Cook finished the 2006 season with win at Kansas Speedway and eighth place in the overall driver point standings.

“There is no doubt that we will have great success in 2007,” Cook said. “Jim Harris (HT Motorsports owner) has put together an all-star team with an already impressive record in the NCTS and I am really looking forward to this year and us hitting the high banks of Daytona with Danny (Rollins) calling the shots.”

Rollins joined HT Motorsports as crew chief on the No. 59 mid-season 2006. Previously, he guided Bobby Hamilton Sr. to the NCTS Championship in 2004.
