Further, the location of the proposed project is outside the notified industrial estate. Hence, the project proponent has to obtain the EC from the Ministry of Environment & Forests, New Delhi. M/s. T. R. Associates has been appointed to carry out EIA/EMP studies for Environmental Clearance. The total land area of company is 6833 m2. out of which 2282 m2. (33 % of total land) area will be used for greenbelt development. The estimated cost of the proposed project is 3.5 Crores. Total budget allocation towards Environmental Management Facilities will be Rs. 50 Lacs. Total 15 persons will be employed including skilled persons, unskilled persons and office staff. 2. Project Proponent and their back ground Company is promoted by its partners namely Mr. Milan Vansjaliya having 7 years experience in Pharma, Mr. Amrutbhai Bariya having 20 years experience in API manufacturing. -1- PRE-FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR SPENTICA LIFE SCIENCE 3. Brief description of nature of the project It is a small scale project for production of synthetic organic chemicals API pharmaceutical which will be sold in domestic market as well exported. a. Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region: Looking to the product profile, it is required to take Environmental Clearance. In India, good quality raw materials are available at cheap rates, enabling the manufacturing at low cost. This increases the profit margin as compared to other players in the world. To meet the current and future market demand, the project proponent intends to start a new unit. Looking to the market demand, the proposed project is feasible at stated location. b. Imports v/s Indigenous production: Indian market is open and big that is why every kind of import is booming. Indian industrialist must understand the fact that its no more a regional shift, it is a global shift. Indian technology should be upgraded an updated at par with international standards. The working environment in India has changed tremendously. Earlier the trade fairs were hardly participated by foreign chemical manufacturing companies where as now it is flooded with global suppliers. c. Export Possibility: There is good possibility for export. But currently we are focused on local sale market for distribution. d. Employment Generation (Direct and Indirect) due to the project: This project will provide direct employment to 15 people whereas it will provide employment to many others indirectly. 4. Project Description a. Type of project including interlinked and interdependent projects: Active pharmaceutical ingradients are frequently used for cure the disease as well . So it is an individual Industry having no direct dependency on others. b. Resource optimization/ recycling and reuse envisaged in the project, if any, should be briefly outlined. Latest Process technology will be adopted as available in market with optimum resources requirement with highest yield and less waste and pollution generation. In addition to this, all the feasible cleaner production technologies will be adopted. 6. Availability of water its source, Energy/ power requirement and source should be given. Energy/power requirement will be 100 KVA which will be procured through Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited. The total water requirement will be 36 KL/day which will be fulfilled by own dug well. Water balance diagram is given as Annexure-6 of Form-1 document; 7. Quantity of wastes to be generated (liquid and solid) and scheme for their Management/disposal. Landuse imaginary of proposed site is as under: -7- PRE-FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR SPENTICA LIFE SCIENCE -8- PRE-FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR SPENTICA LIFE SCIENCE Soil classification of Rajkot The soils found in the district are mostly of Inceptisol and Entisol order and of Othids, Ochrepts, Orthents, Fluvents, Psamments and Aquepts suborder. The soil of this district can be divided into the following 3 tyes: Medium black Alluvial (salty) Mixed red (1) Medium black In the central part of the district comprising Wankaner, Morvi, Paddhari, Lodhika, Jasdan, Rajkot, Jam Kandorna and Kotada Sanghani talukas, the soils are of clayey loam to clay type. They are moderately deep to deep and vary in colour from very dark brown to very dark greyish brown and reddish brown. The EC of the soils is generally less than 1.0 mmhos/cm and cation exchange capacity is between 40 and 60 me/100 gm of soil. (2) Alluvial (salty) In the northern most part of the district comprising Malia taluka, the soils are sandy, loamy sand, clayey and silty type. They are moderately deep (25 to 75 cm). The colour of the soils is dark yellowish brown to very dark greyish brown. These soils are mostly saline with EC more than 4.0 mmhos/cm and cation exchange capacity of 20 to 40 me/10 gm of soil. (3) Mixed red The soils in the southern part of the district comprising Jetpur, Dhoraji, Upleta and Gondal talukas are similar to the soils of the central part. They are clayey loam to clayey type, very dark grey to dark greyish and dark brown in colour and moderately deep (25 to 75 cm).

Monitoring of groundwater level and chemical quality furnish valuable information on the ground water regime characteristics of the different hydrogeological units moreover, analysis of these valuable data collected from existing observation wells during May, August, November and January in each ground water year (June to May) indicate the pattern of ground water movement, changes in recharge-discharge relationship, behavior of water level and qualitative & quantitative changes of ground water regime in time and space. It also helps in identifying and delineating areas prone to decline of water table and piezometric surface due to large scale withdrawal of ground water for industrial, agricultural and urban water supply requirement. Further water logging prone areas can also be identified with historical water level data analysis. This year book contains the data and analysis of ground water regime monitoring for the year 2018-19.

    Morbi District is located in the Saurashtra region of Indian state of Gujarat. It was formed on August 15, 2013, on the 67th Independence Day of India. The district has 5 talukas - Morbi, Maliya, Tankara, Wankaner and Halvad. This district is surrounded by Kutch district to the north, Surendranagar district to the east, Rajkot district to the south and Jamnagar district to the west. Morbi, also known as Morvi is the administrative headquarters of Morbi district, which literally means City of Peacocks. The town of Morbi is endowed not only with great natural beauty, but it is also famous for its colorful history and rich cultural heritage. The town of Morbi is situated on the bank of Machchhu River, 35 km from the sea and 60 km from Rajkot. The city-state of Morbi and much of the building heritage and town planning, are attributed to the administration of Sir Lakhdhiraji Waghji, who ruled from 1922 to 1948. The Machchhu dam failure or Morbi disaster was a dam-related flood disaster which occurred on 11 August 1979. Morbi has long been a center for trade and industry. In the beginning, the economy of the town was mainly dependent on ceramic and clock manufacturing industry. Today, the area has also become a growing hub for paper mills and other ancillary industries such as packaging industry, export houses etc. Together, they have created a vibrant and sustainable economy in this region. After the bifurcation from Rajkot District Court, Morbi District Court started its functioning from 02/10/2016 and presently, there are 2 Appellate Courts, 1 Family Court, 1 Labour Court, 5 Senior Division Courts/Chief Courts & 7 Junior Division Courts, are functioning in Morbi District.

  • History of Bhavnagar Division
    HISTORY OF BHAVNAGAR DIVISION Bhavnagar Division occupies an important position in the history of the Indian Railways. Bhavnagar was the third princely State in the country after Baroda and Hyderabad to begin construction of Railway line with its own funds. In Saurashtra, Bhavnagar was the first and Gondal the second state to build a Railway network. Railways in this region began in December 1880 with inauguration of the line from Bhavnagar Terminus to Wadhwan City. Sir James Fergusson, Governor of Bombay inaugurated the line in the presence of Sir Takhtasinhji, the ruler of Bhavnagar. The first train was run from Bhavnagar to Limbdi carrying the Governor’s entourage and guests. I t returned the same evening well in time for a State Bouquet in the King’s palace at Neelambaug. Soon after this the line from Dhola to Dhoraji was also completed with Bhavnagar and Gondal states sharing the cost of the same. Construction of Railway line from Bhavnagar to Wadhwan, which was initially opposed by the British, was taken up primarily as a relief measure due to extreme famine in the year 1877. Railway lines in other States were built to connect their important cities. These States were Junagadh, Porbandar, Morbi and Jamnagar. Independence saw integration of the princely states in the Indian Union. Bhavnagar was the first princely state in the entire country to accede to India. After integration, all these State Railways became the property of the then State Government of Saurashtra operating as “Saurashtra Railways”. They were later taken over by the Government of India and merged with Western Railway at the time of regrouping of Railways in early 1952.
