On the morning of Oct. 28, 2007, a tragic beach house fi re took seven young lives in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. USC students Lauren Mahon, Cassidy Pendley, Allison Walden, Travis Cale, Will Rhea and Justin Anderson, along with Clemson student Emily Yelton, perished . Survivors of the fi re, along with the victims’ friends and families struggled to pick up the pieces.
