Senior’s begin 2015 campaign with league defeat to

Carnmore hosted Clarinbridge in round one of the Senior League. Carnmore, still very much in a preseason type training regime were far from full strength with Anthony Davoran, Donie Fox, Kegan Fox and Darren and Ciaran Fahy all absent. Clarinbridge on the other hand

travelled with a large squad at near full strength and this showed as they were much the better side from start to finish eventually winning out 6.25 – 0.9.

With Carnmore’s management team of Seamus Qualter and Co. also in charge of the U21 team who begin their championship next weekend there was a strong influx of younger players into the side which included Sean Nugent in goals, Ronan Keane at full back, Kevin Hanley at wing back and Ronan Morgan and Kevin Feeney in the half forward line with Aaron Grealish, Mark Kenny an Shane Quinn also coming into the fray in the second half.
