t is again that time of the month where Anivolution comes out with a brand new issue for all our beloved hungry readers. After an amazing I‘rainy’ issue, Anivolution is proud to present a new addition to the long line of magazine titles. Thus we humbly present to you the August issue of our magazine. In the previous magazine one may have come across amazing articles such as a review of the highly anticipated man of steel movie, a look into some upcoming films and a whole load of amazing animation goodies. This time in keeping with the season of Ganesh Chathurti we take a dive into the world of the Ganesh Idol makers, a review on the latest game based on the infamous ‘merc with a mouth’ Deadpool. A snippet from the various master classes that took place, a look into the life of our very own Legend Rabindranath Tagore and much more. In all of our issues the members of Anivolution have worked hard to put the best of content and designs for our reader’s enjoyment and we hope that you have the best time while reading our magazines. Name : Satish Sawant • Since when are you making these idols? We have been associated with this art of making Lord Ganesha idols since 8 years now. • What particular procedures do you follow? There are many methods and different styles for different idols. Name: Vinay Ashok Parulekar • Since how long you have been making Ganesha Idol? We have been making Ganesha Idols since childhood. In our family no one is much educated so we are in this field from past 30 years. My father too use to make Ganesha Idol since childhood. But he use to make Idols at someone else’s place and now we have our own mandal. • What particular procedures do you follow? We usually use two things one is PUK and sand for making ganesha Idols. For giving final detailing and colouring of the idols we use oil paints.

Name: Durgesh Dandekar • Since how long you have been making Ganesh idols? I am into the making of Ganesh idols Vinod Hombre from past 15 years. • What are the materials used to create an Idol? Basically, there are only two materials required to make Ganesh idols. One of them is POP and other is wet clay. Wet clay Idols are known as eco-friendly in the market and now a days, they have got a good demand in the market. This master class was taken by Mr. Rohit, the respective faculty of Arena Andheri. The day started with bit of helpful theories related to 3D stereoscopy and then with practical. At the end of the session all students were satisfied with the class and Mr. Rohit ended the session till 9pm. BG and stop motion The bg design workshop for stop motion animation took place at arena andheri west. The workshop was conducted on 13 July. It was conducted by Rajiv M. Sir. In the workshop sir explained the importance of a right background for a stop motion to go well. He then explained what is foreground and background. He focused on different elements on the background and the uses of background in stop motion animation. He showed one of the award winning student’s work of stop motion for

Mobile and web device interface design The workshop for mobile and web device interface was conducted on 25th July 2013 at Arena Animation Andheri (W).The workshop was conducted by Patwant Sir. In the workshop students were given knowledge about the different designs of applications used in android and IOS devices. Sir explained about the different screen sizes and the resolution required for them, he gave the students information about the different resolutions used in the designing of these applications. He specified the different resolution based sizes such as LDPI, MDPI, and HDPI. He then explained the different components in mobile

He covered different topics related to UI design like the different design requirements of different applications and also the types of interface design required for different applications. 1) From where your concept of this television commercial advertisement came to you mind? Sir asked us to create an advertisement and we should come up with a good concept. We wanted our advertisement to be humorous and exaggerated and suddenly this concept Competition Of the Month Of Competition came to our mind in my mind and I narrated this concept to everyone and it got accepted. 2) How you executed this concept? Actually after a shoot we weren’t that much happy with the raw clips but after editing it was a blast. All thanks to Palash who edited it. 3) What kind of hurdles you found on the way to make this ad? The main problem was the location. We were not getting the house as per our needs and finally we got the proper location.
