Na Fianna Nuacht Club Lotto This week’s Na Fianna Club Lotto winning numbers were; 2 12 17 27 No jackpot winner. Next Jackpot: €6,000, please support. Members’ Subscriptions Members are reminded that subscriptions for the current year became due and payable immediately following the Club’s AGM last October. All GAA Registrations were submitted on 1st April as per regulation, and any member whose membership was unpaid on that date was not included in this Registration as per Club policy. The consequences of this are that unregistered players are no longer insured to play or train and do so at their own risk. In addition, teams playing unregistered players could be adjudged an illegal team and suffer the loss of points and even elimination from competitions. Members’ subs can be paid in the bar on Wednesday nights between 6.30pm and 9pm and again on Saturday mornings from 9am to 11am. Payments by card, cheque and cash will be accepted. Subscriptions can also be paid at the club office, Mon to Fri, 9am to 1pm. Na Fianna Golf Society Na Fianna Golf Society’s next outing will be to Luttrellstown on Monday 16th June. We welcome you hopefully to two venues today, with critical games in both codes, to Pairc Uí Cheallaigh, Port Gleann Eoghain, Port Chluain Eoghain and to Pairc Naomh Iosaef Lann Abhaigh. We are deeply indebted to both clubs for their expertise and experience in hosting our teams and for having their facilities in such impeccable condition. Both our senior hurlers and footballers have made strong starts to their respective league campaigns. Our footballers have opened with wins against Wexford and most recently in gruelling conditions in Ruislip against London setting up a mouthwatering clash today against Carlow. A solitary point separated us in our away game against Sligo, with an obscurely short amount of additional time being played, when we awaited a kick out with the wind at our backs. Our hurlers have won both games away to Wicklow and home to Mayo, with tougher tests awaiting for the rest of the league, starting today against Meath, who of course beat us in the 2016 Christy Ring final. Storm Dennis defeated both us and Offaly last week, in a key match which will require to be re-fixed before our final fixture away to Kerry in Tralee on 1st March. Promotion from both leagues is a key strategic objective for both panels and whereas it will be difficult we have started as we mean to go on.
