PREFACE I am happy to release the Thirty Second Edition of Hand Book of Statistics of Chittoor District which incorporates Statistical Data of various departments for the Year 2018. The Statistical Data in respect of various departments and schemes being implemented in the district are compiled in a systematic and scientific manner reflecting the progress during the year. The sector-wise progress is given in a nutshell under the chapter “DISTRICT AT A GLANCE” apart from Mandal-wise data. The publication reflects the latest data on various aspects of the District Economy. The information has been given Mandal-wise in a concise form to facilitate an overall assessment of the District Economy for the year. The current publication unveils the present scenario of the development in all aspects of different parameters both at District and Mandal Level. This publication is very useful reference book for the General public, Planners, Administrators, Research Scholars, Bankers and also special Agencies who are involved in the formulation and implementation of various developmental programmes in the district.
