Age Requirement: There is no age bar in any course, except for those in which age has been stipulated by its regulatory body like AICTE, MCI , Bar Council of India (BCI), (NCTE), (DCI), etc. Gap year(s) will not be a bar for purposes of admission to the undergraduate courses. For further details refer to Page No. 10-20 of the Bulletin of Information 2019-20 for UG courses Reservation: SC/ST/OBC/ EWS/PwD/ KM/CW7 SC ST OBC EwS 15% 7.5% 27% 10% Note: SC/ST applicants who get admission under open merit (unreserved) shall not be included in the reserved quota, i.e. 22.5% (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST). For Reservation policy for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) please refer to details outlined in Annexure IV of the Bulletin of Information for undergraduate courses 2019-20. Upto 5% seats are also reserved for Person with Disability(PwD). Reservation for CW and Kashmiri Migrants 5% of the seats in each course have to be offered to the Children/Widows of Officers and Men of the ARMED Forces including Para- Military Personnel, in the order of preference. 5% seats are also reserved for Kashmiri Migrants. Such candidates will be required to get their name registered online. Sports/ ECA 8 5% Seats are reserved for Sports and ECA quota. For admission under Sports/ Extra Curricular Activities candidates must apply online only and upload the certificates also. The trials will also be conducted at sport/ activity specific colleges. Details will be available soon on website. Sports: 60% for trials and 40% for certificates ECA: 25% for certificate and 75% for trials with a 15% capping on last cut off or 7 cut- off whichever is earlier. Documents required at the time of Admission The applicants shall be required to produce following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission: 1. Class X Board Examination Certificate/Marks Sheet 2. Class XII Marks-Sheet 3. SC/ST/ PwD/CW/KM /EwS Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority. Refer to Information Bulletin. 4. OBC (Non- Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority. 5. EWS Certificate from competent authority as mentioned in the information Bulletin certifying that the applicant can claim reservation under this category. 6. At least two passport size self-attested photographs. Important instructions FOR APPLICANTS FOR FILLING ONLINE FORM The candidates who wish to be considered for admission to various Undergraduate course in different colleges of the University of Delhi, based on merit (for which there is no entrance exam) and based on entrance are required to register online for all categories, including unreserved (UR) /EwS/OBC/SC/ST/ PwD/ Kashmiri Migrant/ CW. Important instruction *The registration of candidates seeking admission under Sports/ Extra-curricular activities (ECA) categories is through the same UG admission portal. *The registration of female candidates of NCT for Non- Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) in B.A/ B.Com is also online through this UG admission portal. *Candidates seeking admission in minority colleges will also register online through the UG admission portal and register in their portal as well. The admission to such courses is based on entrance tests, for which the tentative schedule is between 22nd June – 2nd July 2019. The university is not responsible in case an applicant has opted for more than one entrance-based course and there is a clash of date/time in the entrance- test scheduled. There will be separate entrance fees per test as well.
