I’m wondering if we will be bringing back the roaring 20s. I hope it will be an era of change and growth. Today’s technology is expanding rapidly and helping us to achieve our core work more efficiently.INSITE Magazine is a perfect example of producing a quality product with less steps needed because of technological advances. You are holding a magazine that looks and feels better due to advances in digital and commercial printing. I often listen to TED Talks when I exercise on the treadmill and recently listened to a talk on “a funny look at the unintended consequences of technology.” He said future technology comes with two things: promises and unintended consequences. A great example of this is social media. It was supposed to bring us together in new and great ways, but the consequences are that our kids are less connected and experience cyberbullying. Our human interactions are fading away and allowing us to say and do things that would not be said in person. The promise of artificial intelligence and robotics is a positive by-product of technological advances. In the business environment, this technology will have great impacts on efficiencies and production outputs.
