Try being a… Clerk of the Course Each month during the MSA Year of the Volunteer we are focusing on a different volunteering role. This month we take a look at the role of the Clerk of the Course.

David Scott is Race Operations Manager and senior Clerk of the Course for MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR). He began marshalling in 1964 and first became a Clerk of the Course in the 1980s. He was formerly a senior Clerk for the BRDC and Deputy Clerk for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
