Senator Amidala, former Queen of Naboo, is returning to Coruscant to vote on the critical issues of creating an army Of the republic to assist the overwhelmed Jedi. When master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his padawon Anakin Skywalker Are assigned to protect the senator, they soon discover the republic is in grave danger.
