Faith Focus Ascension Day Thursday 2nd June

Cumpleanos Feliz

Gabriella Kavuma and Ascension Day is the 40th Day after Easter Sunday. The name 'ascension' comes from the accounts in the Bible in Olivia Kenwright Mark's Gospel and Luke's Gospel that tell of Jesus being taken up into heaven - he ascended. It marks the last appearance of Jesus to his disciples after He rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. Jesus told the disciples he would always be with them and promised them the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Congratulations to Courtney McMahon, Joseph Jacques Christelle Owens and Morgan Whelan who celebrated their First Holy Communion last weekend, please keep them in your prayers.
