PBC Information for Routes operating with Electronic Smart Cards
There are two types of payment options on the electronically ticketed routes: Single fare: Cash payment is made to the driver for one ride only (no Smart Card required) Smart Card: Load credit onto Smart Card in $10 multiples
There is an initial one-off cost of $10 to purchase the required smart card. Smart cards and all top ups can be purchased from the driver on the bus. Note that top ups need to be $10 or more (and preferably in multiples of 10 (eg $10, $20, $30 etc). Please have exact change for the amount you wish to load onto your card. Your card can be used for any fare, so if you need to use another one of our services to travel to a different fare zone the same card can now be used.

PM: Departs 3.10pm on the 1591 bus. Students travel on this bus to the Baptist Church on East Coast Bays Rd where Northcross students are transferred onto the 1510 bus to join the Long Bay Primary students already on the bus. Continues to Okura River Rd, Okura Village Hall. Returns Okura River Rd, East Coast Rd to Awanohi Rd (3.25pm) where it returns along East Coast Rd to Long Bay College. NB: This bus does not go to Bawden Road

This is a free Ministry of Education funded bus for those who qualify and a paying route for those who are not eligible for free travel – fares as below. Contact the NX office for eligibility criteria. Concession tickets for the fare paying passengers are available from the Northcross Int School office. 10 trip ticket for $20.00 Those students eligible for free travel will be issued with a bus pass which must be shown to the driver on every journey. $10.00 will be charged for a replacement pass.
