Aspectos Son los skins propiamente dichos, por defecto trae los modos: Kong, Retro y Runt que venían en versiones anteriores, pero se pueden descargar skins del sitio de quinnware.com donde hacen referencia a sitios de “modding”. Trae la posibilidad de crear skins personalizados pero no está muy claro como realizarlos ya que cuando uno hace clic en la solapa “Aspectos personalizados” en el botón [crear aspecto personalizado], al hacer en el botón [crear], parece que no está activado o que falta algún plug-in para poder realizarlos. Quintessential Player (QCD) est un nouveau player audio qui vient concurrencer directement Winamp et Sonique. Ces fonctions sont pratiquement identiques à celles de Winamp. On peut télécharger ou créer des skins et des pluggins. Il comporte les célèbres animations visuelles. Il supporte les : MP3, MP+, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, VQF, WMA et bien sur les cd audio. Il y a des streamings video et audio inclus. Mais on peut aussi faire du streaming audio soit même. Comme pour le lecteur Windows Media Player on a la possibilité de graver un cd, chose que Winamp n’a pas encore intégrée. Pour ce qui est du son QCD restitue une qualité sonore exceptionnelle. Il comprend une des meilleures intégrations CDDBv2 disponible de nos jours. Pour avoir ce logiciel en Français il faut télécharger et installez un fichier présent sur le site officiel. Il n’y a pas de spywards ni de nag screen. Le taggage des titres est vraiment très pratique, dès que l’on insère le cd audio il donne le nom de la chanson écoutée. Pas besoin de renommer chaque titre comme avec Windows Media Player. Son design par défaut est superbe les boutons sont arrondis, c’est un style très futuriste mais agréable à regarder. Un de ses seuls défauts par rapport à Windows Media Player est le fait qu'il ne lise pas les videos. Enfin il possède une playlist assez pratique car les recherches sont simple et très rapide.
