‘Nations of the ’ Database National Collegiate Software Clearinghouse North Carolina State University

This dataset (NATIONS) is an SPSS version of one of the library of instructional datasets from the American National Collegiate Software Clearinghouse. It contains data on 111 nations (see Appendix) on 115 variables, primarily defined circa 1980 – so an historical flavour. For each variable we have: number, name, brief description, [indented] optional descriptive elaboration, [bracketed] reference to secondary source plus reference to its source, [following asterisk] list of countries with missing data.
