As on 31st March 2020, a total of 11,212 micro enterprises were formed. Achieved 93% of the target. In the FY 2020-2021, It is planned to start 8,126 enterprises.

Centre of Excellence is a Community Owned Training Centre which is managed by the BNSEP Committee and it offers services on all the activities of SVEP. It is planned to develop Parakkode (PTA) & Vadavucode (EKM) blocks as CE.

Process evaluation and Study on SVEP will enable the project to reflect on the outcomes and to develop the learning for the improvement and also for the identification of potential strategies for ensuring the sustainability of project outcomes. It is also planned to submit a policy frame work to Govt. of India based on the experience of SVEP in Kerala.

One State level call center/support helpline will be established in this financial year. With the support of call Centre and district level MECs, Kudumbashree will help the entrepreneurs to overcome their problems and develop and scale up their businesses.

Setting up of Call Centre Jul./Aug. 2020 13. Roll out RKI SVEP model project in 14 flood affected blocks
To implement the SVEP model project in 14 flood affected blocks, It is planned to set up BNSEP committee and BRC in each block. Baseline study will be conducted and DPR will be prepared in each block. Identification and training of 300 MECs in 14 blocks is also planned in this financial year. This project will lead to establishment of more than 16,800 new enterprises in both farm and nonfarm sectors within 2 years.

The project envisages to provide hand-holding to micro enterprises that Kudumbashree has promoted under SVEP by positioning a network of domain specialists in flood affected regions (ALP, KTM & EKM) of Kerala. As on date, identified and placed three domain specialist. It is planned to identify and place 3 more domain specialists and also to place sales team in each block.
