Common Vision: Working Group Members

Below is a list of the six Working Groups and their current membership. 1. We want to make a bigger difference in the world and serve the poor Chair: Bishop Colin: Lead Adviser Alison Webster: Diocesan Social Responsibility Adviser Members Rachel Carnegie: career background in international development; co-director of the Anglican Alliance; specialism in Christian community engagement with a global reach. Polly Falconer: experience of statutory sector working, mental health practitioner, member of BAME community. Jan Fishwick: Chief Executive of PACT with experience of how poverty affects children and families, and a passion about the churches being more effective in making a difference. Margot Hodson: expert on climate change, and experience of rural contexts. Tim Norwood: key resource on Community Organising especially through his experience of CItizensMK and the local course for lay Christians, ‘leading for change’.

We want to plant new churches and congregations everywhere we can Chair: (formerly Chair of New Communities Group) Lead Advisor: Andrew Anderson-Gear (Director of Mission, knowledge of Diocese, Former Lead on Fresh Expressions/Cutting Edge Ministries) Members: Claire Barratt, Secretary to group and rural PCC Secretary Mark Bodeker, Pioneer Minister on new housing estate Simon Dust, Incumbent in High Wycombe and pursuing a church revitalisation , , urban experience Clare Hayns, Chaplain with previous experience of Fresh Expressions in Southwark Dan Heyward, Incumbent of church wanting to plant, with personal experience of a Church Plant in another diocese that was not successful.

David Walker, incumbent of large church in Reading, our largest urban area. Sami Watts, who leads a church plant in Marlow Phil White, long experience in ministry within new housing estates in Aylesbury, and who oversees a new diocesan development post. Martin Williams, Vicar of large church in Gerrards Cross who has recently begun a Church Graft in Denham. Particular interest in Resource Churches.

5. We want to put the discipleship of all at the heart of our common life and set God’s people free.
