Councillor Hauseman noted that he had attended the Holland Landing Anglican Church silent auction and dance, but not the Cabin Fever Reliever fundraiser at Mount Albert as indicated under 'Verbal Reports'.

Young of Mount Albert, dated February 9, 2005, requesting permission to close Birchard Blvd in Mount Albert for a Street Barbeque on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the correspondence from M. Young of Mount Albert, dated February 9, 2005, requesting permission to temporarily close Birchard Boulevard in the Community of Mount Albert on Saturday, June 25th, 2005 from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. for the purposes of holding a Street Barbeque, be received; and

THAT Municipal Council wishes to grant approval and authorize the execution of a By-law to temporarily close Birchard Boulevard on Saturday, June 25th, 2005 from 12:00 noon to 11 :00 p.m. for the purposes of holding a Street Barbeque. Carried. C 2005-113COR

2. Correspondence from C. Shaw, dated February 23, 2005, with regard to Mount Albert Family Place

Councillor Morton noted that there was a timeframe of February 25th for submission of letters to the Trillium Foundation. A letter from Council may no longer be required. Rick Leclair was requested to review the matter and provide a memo to Council outlining what may be done. Councillor Morton further added that Mount Albert Family Place does not charge parents for their service and this is one of the options that may need to be considered if financial assistance is required.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the correspondence from C. Shaw, dated February 23, 2005, with regard to Mount Albert Family Place, be received; and

3. Correspondence from L. Fenton of Holland Landing, dated February 9, 2005, re the Use of Paper Bags for Leaf Collection Council Meeting March 7, 2005 Town of East Gwillimbury Page 5 of 13

Following discussion, it was decided to forward the correspondence to the Town Engineer for preparation of a draft response to be brought back to Council for their consideration and to forward a copy of the correspondence to York Region.
