Businesses serving the Pasadena area gain a vital connection to the community through the Pasade- Education Committee na Business Association. t is an honor and privilege to present to you our 2020 PBA Member- ship Directory. Within these pages you will find traditional business listings and advertisements from all of our active members. But much more than that, you will find community event schedules, elected official contact information, Iand community listings for our local schools, hospitals and places of worship. This directory is a regular resource for our members, and we hope you come to find it a great resource for you as an introduction to our association if you are not yet a member. Our format this year is a bit different, as we have put extra effort into making our publication more user friendly and accessible online. This upgraded web presence will allow us the opportunity to have real time edits as we add new members as well as put Brian Conrad the information at your fingertips from any computer or smart device you choose. PBA President If this is your first exposure to the PBA, I believe you will be pleasantly surprised at all the events and activities that we support, sponsor and run. There is an entire section outlining these events. In addition to our monthly membership meetings, we have: local leads groups, a Scholarship Fundraiser, a Christmas Tree Lighting, a Caring and Sharing Parade, a Trade Show, a Crab Feast, a Shop Local Festival, a Golf Tournament and a Veteran’s Day Ceremony just to name a few. Everything our association does is designed to give back to and support our Pasadena community. Your membership includes a listing in our directory, with additional opportunities for advertising in category specific locations at very reasonable costs. All of the above listed events don’t happen by accident and certainly not without our dedicated volunteers. We have a devoted Board of Directors as well as an incred- ible and enthusiastic Executive Director, Sandi Parrish. Hancock’s Resolution is a 15 acre farm located in Pasadena. Hancock’s Resolution is on the National Register of Historic Places. Hancock’s Resolution is a historic two-story gambrel-roofed stone farm house with shed-roofed dormers and interior end chimneys. In 1785 Stephen Hancock, Jr. built the original stone section as the main house for what was then a 410- acre farm. Additions to the house were built in 1855 and in about 1900. Dues Investment Dues are based on the number of employees and are prorated on the month joined based on the annual January 1 full membership renewal. If you join after September 30th you will pay the prorated amount for the year joining and the full dues for the following year. • 1 – 5 Employees and Non Profit = $150.00 • 6 – 20 Employees = $180.00 • 21+ Employees = $230.00 Associate Membership: Any member with BOTH business AND primary residence outside the PBA geographic boundaries, 21122, 21146, 21061, 21060, 21108, 21226. Associate members receive all privileges of active membership including that of voting, chairing a committee, and sitting on the board of directors. Associate members may not hold an officer position. Please note: Membership investments to PBA are not tax deductible as charitable contributions.
