Door was kicked Victim was away from her apartment for a period of 1:36pm (Residential- Apartments) in. time and missed one monthly payment for her apartment. When she returned she discovered her door had been kicked in and everything that she had in the apartment had been removed. It was later discovered by Southfield Police Detective who was conducting follow up investigation that the items from victim’s apartment had mistakenly all been removed by management. Victim has a meeting with management to settle the matter.

From: 08/26/2016 28000 W Kalong Cir. Lock Box was R/P (Realtor) reports that the lock box was missing 1:00pm removed from the from the front door and the rear door was standing To: 08/27/2016 front door. open. When realtor arrived for a showing the front 4:45pm and rear doors where open and the lock box was gone. Missing from the basement is the Furnace, the Water Filtration System and the Air Conditioner was taken from the rear exterior of the house. When these items were removed from their connections it was done in a neat orderly manner and the gas was turned off from the furnace.

RS – Recovered Stolen R/P stated the vehicle was stolen out of another 9:50am (Commercial- Rental) GMC Box White jurisdiction. Vehicle Year 2014 The vehicle was recovered in Detroit. Status From: 08/25/2016 25000 Shiawassee Rd. A- Attempt Auto Theft Victim states sometime between 2:00am- (Residential- Apartments) Manufacturer 2:00am 6:30am someone attempted to steal his vehicle. To: 08/25/2016 Model The vehicle was parked at the victim’s Apartment STRATUS 6:30am Color Complex and the steering column was damaged. GLD - Gold Vehicle Year 2006 Description 4 Door Gold Dodge Stratus Notes Ignition removed from steering column.

TRAILBLAZER Color 7:00am. When victim completed her shift at BLK - Black Vehicle Year 4:00am she returned to find her vehicle stolen. 2007 Body Style State MI License Year Description Black 2007 Chevy Trailblazer Status 08/27/2016 28000 Northwestern S - Stolen Victim states sometime between 9:30am and 9:30am (Commercial- Salon) Manufacturer 11:21am, while she was getting her hair done, GMC Model someone stole her 2006 Black GMC . ENVOY Color Victim states while getting her hair done she BLK - Black Vehicle Year observed two vehicles pulling off quickly from 2006 Body Style the lot. 4D - 4 Door There was an unknown young B/F in the first State MI vehicle. All Four Wheels & Tires Victim states sometime between 2:00pm and the 2:00pm were taken from victims following morning at 5:30am someone took All To: 08/23/2016 2015 Lincoln MKZ. Four Wheels and Tires from his 2015 Lincoln 5:30am MKZ. Victim states the vehicles wheels had locking lug nuts on it. No further information on how suspects got the locking lug nuts off the wheels.

08/23/2016 24000 Civic Center Dr. 9- Vehicles were broken The Maintenance Supervisor of the Assisted 2:45am (Residential- Assisted into and ransacked. Living Complex reviewed surveillance video. Living) Nothing was reported At approx. 2:45am the video shows a White High- missing at this time. Top Conversion , pull into the complex. The van had glass windows on all sides of the vehicle. The video shows a B/M walk up to a Silver Ford Fusion in the parking lot. He walks up to the driver’s side and looks into the vehicle. A second B/M walks up to the vehicle and attempts to bust out the rear driver side window by prying with some type of device. After an unsuccessful attempt, another, heavier B/M walks up to the vehicle and is successful in busting out the window. The smaller B/M goes inside the vehicle through the busted out window. He then exits, back out the busted out window. There were a total of nine vehicles in the parking lot that were broken into. Nothing appears to have been taken from any of the vehicles. It appears like the suspects broke into all the vehicles at random, just to rummage through them, to find any valuables. Glove boxes and center consoles were opened and gone thru.

From: 08/24/2016 25000 Northwestern -Window was broken out Sometime between 5:00pm and the following 5:00pm (Hotel) and vehicle was morning at 8:14am several vehicles that were To: 08/25/2016 ransacked. 2015 Honda parked in the lot at the Hotel had their windows 8:14am Accord. Unknown if broken out. The vehicles were all ransacked and anything was taken. some of the vehicles had items taken from them.

From: 08/26/2016 16000 Oxley Rd. All Four Wheels & Tires Witness stated that she observed an Older Rusty 1:30am (Residential- Apartments) were taken from 2011 Red Full Size Single Cab Pick Up Truck in the area To: 08/26/2016 Dodge Caravan. driving thru the complex. She also observed an 3:00am Older White Single Full Size Pick Up Truck. Both vehicles where driving through complex looking at vehicles. Witness observed Red Pick Up Truck in lot where tires were taken at approx. 1:30am -3:00am. She had set her vehicles alarm off to scare the vehicle away. Witness could not describe driver or occupants of vehicle. Witness stated she has seen vehicle in the lot on prior dates cruising the complex.

Status 08/26/2016 20000 Sherman Ave. S - Stolen Victim states the license plate was stolen from (Residential- Apartments) Description 8:38pm License Plate From 2002 Pontiac her 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix sometime between, Grand Prix 5:15pm - 8:30pm. The vehicle was parked under a carport at victims Apartment Complex.

Status 08/25/2016 24000 W Ten Mile Rd. S - Stolen Victim believes the license plate was stolen off (Commercial- Food) Manufacturer 2:39pm STATE OF MICHIGAN his vehicle on Thursday August 25, 2016 while he License Plate Taken From 2003 was dining at business in the 24000 Block of 10 Mile Rd. between 12:15pm & 12:45pm. No suspect information. The license plate was taken from 2003 Dodge Ram Van.

From: 08/26/2016 23000 Providence Dr. Door Lock was punched Victim states he parked his vehicle, 2008 Black 4:30pm (Residential- Apartments) on victims 2008 Black GMC Envoy Denali in the rear lot of Apartment To: 08/26/2016 GMC Envoy Denali. Complex at 4:30pm. Victim went back outside to 5:30pm walk to the store and observed a B/M, approx. 5’-6”, 20 years, with long hair on the ground next to his vehicle. The suspect quickly got up and entered a Black SUV with another B/M suspect. The victim later, discovered that his door lock on his vehicle had been punched. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician processed the vehicle and developed several latents.

From: 08/28/2016 20000 Harbor Ln. Loose Change and Victim states on Sunday August 28, 2016 his gun 3:30pm Handgun were taken from were stolen out of the glove box of his vehicle. To: 08/28/2016 victims 2016 Dodge The theft occurred between 3:30am-9:00am. 9:00am Charger. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 08/26/2016 23000 W Eight Mile Rd. Nothing was taken. Victim, (Gas Station Attendant) advised that he 11:12pm (Commercial- Gas Station) was locking up the gas station at the front door when he was approached by an unknown male wearing black pants, a gray hoodie with the hood up, a black ski mask, gloves, and a handgun pointed at him. The suspect demanded the money from inside the gas station. After going back into the gas station the victim was able to somehow lock himself in the area protected by bullet proof glass behind the counter. The suspect then fled the area. Surveillance video confirmed incident. A neighboring jurisdiction K-9 Unit responded and tracked to a nearby residence. The suspect wasn’t located at this time. The van had glass windows on all sides of the vehicle. 3 B/M suspects are then observed breaking into several vehicles.

4) 24000 Block of Northwestern 9- LFA’s/ MDOP (Hotel) Officers were able to review surveillance video from the Hotel. They observed a Chrysler Town and Country pull into the lot at 4:55am. Three males exiting the vehicle and were observed going car to car.

Retail Fraud/ DWLS/ Misrep- 2 Arrests 08/22/2016 1:52am 5) 25000 Block of Northwestern 1-LFA 30000 Block of Southfield Rd (Hotel) (Commercial- Pharmacy) Several more vehicles were attacked but were not Officers were dispatched to the 30000 Block of Southfield Rd regarding reported at this time. a Retail Fraud that just occurred. (Residential- Apartments) The vehicle was stopped by Officers on 10 Mile Rd east of Southfield Witness stated that she observed an Older Rusty Red Rd. Both occupants in the vehicle were taken into custody for Retail Full Size Single Cab Pick Up Truck in the area driving Fraud and the stolen merchandise from Pharmacy was recovered thru the complex. She also observed an Older White inside the suspect’s vehicle. Single Full Size Pick Up Truck. Both vehicles where driving thru complex looking at vehicles.

7) 23000 Block of Providence Dr. 1-Attempt LFA (Residential- Apartments) Victim observed a B/M, approx. 5’-6”, 20 years, with long hair on the ground next to his vehicle. The suspect quickly got up and entered a Black SUV with another B/M suspect and fled the area.

8) 20000 Block of Sherman Ave. 1- LFA (Residential- Apartments) License Plate was Taken.

Domestic A&B/ DWLS/ MDOP/ Resisting Officer- -Lots of lighting around the area(s) that you park 1- Arrest your vehicles is also very beneficial. Officers responded to Domestic A&B in progress. Officers arrived into the area and observed suspect leaving the residence in his vehicle. When the suspect observed officers coming down the street the suspect stopped his vehicle, exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers apprehended suspect and detained him while conducting their investigation. Officer’s investigation revealed that the suspect that fled the vehicle was driving vehicle on a suspended license. The suspect also assaulted his girlfriend & he kicked the door in on residence damaging the door. Suspect was arrested and transported to Southfield Jail for processing.

Possession of Heroin/ Cocaine & Marijuana- 1- Arrest 08/27/2016 6:45pm 27000 Northwestern Hwy (Hotel) Officers were conducting a property inspection at the Hotel. Officers located a suspicious occupied vehicle parked in the parking lot. It was occupied by three females. Investigation of the suspicious occupied vehicle led to the recovery of suspected Heroin, Cocaine & Marijuana from the interior of the vehicle. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested the suspected narcotics. The result was positive for possible presence of Heroin, Cocaine & Marijuana.

Disorderly Conduct/ Obstruct Police- 1- Arrest 08/27/2016 11:13pm 27000 Block of Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Officers were dispatched to the 27000 Block of Franklin Rd in reference to a possible Domestic Assault. Apartment K-9 Security also responded to the scene. When Officers arrived at the apartment the two combatants were physically fighting with each other and Officers had to separate the two. During Officers investigation the female half of the dispute interfered with the Officers investigation and began yelling in the hallway causing a disturbance and was using profanity towards Officers. The female was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct. The female continued to be disorderly while being escorted to their vehicle and resisted Officers while they attempted to place her in the back seat of their patrol vehicle. The female continued to be disorderly while being transported to jail and while in the jail.

Assault with Intent to Murder- 1- Arrest 08/27/2016 11:39pm 27000 Northwestern Hwy (Hotel) Officers responded to the 27000 Block of Northwestern on some type of an Assault in progress at Hotel. Officers arrived on scene and located two subjects at a room on the third floor. The female half was bloodied and appeared to be bleeding from her face and eye. When asked who did this to her she pointed at the male subject that was holding her when Officers arrived. The male subject had a slurred speech and had trouble standing. He was immediately taken into custody. Victim stated she and suspect got into an argument when she wanted to leave the hotel room. The suspect became enraged when she attempted to leave in a friend’s vehicle. Victim stated that suspect reached into the vehicle and yanked her out by her arm and hair. Victim landed on the ground and suspect repeatedly punched her in the head and upper body. Suspect then dragged victim by her hair up several flights of stairs to the third floor of the hotel. Victim states suspect then attempted to pick her up and throw her from the third floor balcony. The suspect then bit her in the eye and continued to assault her until the police arrived. The suspect was arrested for Assault with Intent to Murder.
