The question, however, remains as to what extent this report- ed scepticism truly reflects people’s opinions and feelings about Europe. We all consider it normal to cross borders within Europe, often while using the same money, as well as to take part in exchange programmes, invest in enterprises across Europe and appeal to European institutions if national regulations, for example, do not meet our expectations.

SIR 1004 Strangers In The Night vocal by: Søren Lindergaard Release Date: Vinyl, MP3 and CD – 2006 / 11 Singing Call MS-58 ORIGINAL MUSIC DETAILS: WRITERS: C Singleton, E Snyder, B Kaempfert Hanhurst’s Best Seller listing (November 2006) – No.1 PUBLISHERS: GEMA, Universal-Champion Music Corp., Screen Gems-EMI Music Inc. Original artist: Frank Sinatra Francis Albert Sinatra – “Old Blue Eyes”, himself; he went from the lead singer with Harry James’ band – “The Music Makers”, via “Tommy Dorsey’s Swing Orchestra” and success in several Hollywood blockbusters to joining the Rat-Pack (originally formed by Humphrey Bogart in 1955). Despite several attempts to retire from the entertainment business, Frank kept coming back – to the joy of all his fans. Undoubtedly, one of the 20th century’s greats, loved by so many, his music lives on. "Strangers in the Night" reached number one in 1966 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was the title song for Frank Sinatra’s most successful album. One of the song's most recognized features is Sinatra beginning the melody again with the syllables "doo-be-doo-be-doo," as the track fades to the end. The song was featured in the film "A Man Could Get Killed" starring James Garner. The English lyrics were written by Charles Singleton and Eddie Snyder. The music was originally composed by Ivo Robi for the music festival in Split, Croatia. Robi later sang the song in German ("Fremde in der Nacht") and in Croatian ("Stranci u Noi"). A thorough adaptation and an arrangement of the piece was done for Sinatra's version by Bert Kaempfert.
