A large number of rural people are engaged in this subsidiary activity through which additional income is received. The present stock of food grains in India will not help in providing food for all people. Most of the farmer’s landless labor’s and the people below poverty line have no money to buy relatively expensive food grain. In Sangli district 16.59% families are under poverty line. There are 14.37 lack total live stocks (2010) in Sangli district, out of these 6.80 lack milch animals. Total milk production in 2012-13 was 18.50 Cores Liters. Co-operative dairies plays vital role in the development of dairy farming in Sangli district. Key words: Livestock, Correlation, Milch animals, Production. Maharashtra at a junction of four districts i.e. Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli and Ratnagiri District. India an sub-continent with vast variation in relief, climate, vegetation. There is a exacting diversity in habitats of over 350 species of mammal, 350 species of rep- tiles, 1200 species of birds and countless insects. The protected forest, national park, sanctuaries, tiger reserves Marine Park and Himalayan wilderness’ are the integral part of eco-tourism. India has more than 80 national park, 441 wildlife sanctuaries, 23 tiger reserves. Today, India has tremendous potential for eco-tourism. It is need to emphasize eco-tourism development and promotion of destination in the country to attract more eco-tourist, for socio-economic development and promotion of conservation .But, for development of destination need strategic planning. Present research paper focus on status and range of wild life and tourist attractions in Chandoli Wild life Sanctuary.

The said land is Private Land. for quarrying capacity of 5000 Brass per year. The major highlights of the project are: The project comes under non agriculture land. Village- Halli is Ideally located at along the Bijapur- Umadi- Pandharpur Road. The village Halli is located Approx 0.735 Km East Side of the lease area. No National park or wildlife sanctuary lies within the buffer zone or nearby this region. No displacements of settlement are required. No sensitive places of notified archaeological, historical or tourist importance within or nearby the buffer zone. Project Description Location: The site is located at Gut No. 77/1 & 77/2 Part, Halli Village, Jat Taluka, District Sangli, and Maharashtra. The site is accessible from NH-204 Road Land: The land provided comes under mining area approved by the government of Maharashtra. Therefore no need of human displacement is needed in the project area. The land provided for stone mining is 1.00 hectare to the project proponent. Co-ordinate: The coordinates of the plant site are latitude 17°12'21.95"N and longitude 75°35'17.88"E Water: Water requirement of the project will be met through the water tanker and bore well which is existing in the human settlement area.
