Ed Sheeran’s new album! By Darcey and Charlotte Ed Sheeran was born on February 17th, 1991, in Halifax, west Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. "Castle on a hill" and "Shape of you", the album's lead singles, were issued on 6 January 2017.Sheeran teased the tracks on social media during the week leading up to their release, posting instrumental extracts and each song's opening lyric. All the songs are very different their Irish songs slow songs fast songs all of them are different but there all catchy and can make you love the songs straight away. His song “castle on a hill” was written about taking his children to his home town, and when he was younger. His success has global reach since the Brit's album is also expected to achieve the biggest first week sales of the year so far in the US. Ed previously reveals he hopes to beat Adele in terms of album sales, revealing that she is the 'benchmark' for the type of global success he wants to achieve. Ed explained on the Chris Evans Breakfast show on Friday morning that devising this structure help him in creating new songs. Ed even put himself out there on Twitter and asked for opinions on the full album after its release; he has received mostly positive response from fans around the world. .
