Leave Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific Airlines 1:00 am on March 29th (Flight CX675) Day 1 Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) in Tel Aviv at 08:10 am on March 29th. Our group will be welcomed by our agent at baggage claim and then board our bus to drive north along Israel’s Mediterranean Coast toward the Galilee. FRI, March 29 Shabbat begins at Sundown ✡ Caesarea Aqueduct: (Opening Ceremony) Herod’s port city where Peter visited Caesarea Maritima Cornelius when the Gospel was given to the Gentiles and where Festus jailed Paul Caesarea recorded in the Book of Acts. ✡ Stop for refreshments and orientation meeting Mt. ✡ Mt. Carmel: Mountain where Elijah called down fire on the altar and slew the Prophets Carmel of Baal, view the Valley of Armageddon, Jezreel Valley, from the overlook to Nazareth, Mount Tabor, Samaria and the western Galilee. ✡ Lunch at Druze restaurant ✡ Nazareth Village: Experience daily life in the time of Jesus at his boyhood home as you Nazareth walk in His steps. MON, April 1 ✡ Ancient Shiloh: This was the site of the Tabernacle (for nearly 400 years) and first capital of the Israelite Kingdom. ✡ Jordan River Valley: Drive south, down along the Jordan River and wilderness, towards Shiloh the Dead Sea. ✡ Qumran: Learn of the Bible’s Book of Isaiah Scrolls found in the caves in 1947. Tour the Jordan reconstructed site passes through ruins of the Essenes’ community. River ✡ Masada: Stand high above the Dead Sea at Herod’s 2000 year old fortress. A cable car takes you up to a breathtaking view of the Judean desert, Jordan and Dead Sea area. April 4 ✡ Israel Museum Model: View the 1000 square meter ‘Second Temple Jerusalem’ Model which recreates the city of 66 AD ✡ Davidson Center: Learn of Temple times from over 2,000 years ago. ✡ Southern Steps of the Second Temple: Come up to worship and stand on the Davidson Center very steps where Jesus taught and His Holy Spirit baptized 3,000 Jewish pilgrims observing Shavuot, the Feast of Pentecost, 50 days after His Resurrection. Jerusalem ✡ Garden of Gethsemane: Enter the Garden, with the ancient olive trees believed to date Garden of Gethsemane back to the times of Jesus and where He prayed, was betrayed by Judas and arrested by the Romans. ✡ Church of All Nations: Where Jesus prayed the night of His arrest. Bethlehem ✡ Bethlehem: Spend some time in the hometown of King David and birthplace of Jesus. Tour the famous Church of the Nativity at Manger Square.
