Luke played 324 games in the NRL (Penrith Panthers & Cronulla Sharks). He also represented New South Wales and Australia. He has the unequalled record of playing every position in first grade football as well as playing representative football as a winger, centre, lock and second row, winning first grade Man of the Match awards as a centre, lock, second row, five-eighth and halfback. Craig Gower Is a former NRL premiership winning player & captain (Penrith Panthers, Newcastle Nights), who has also played for his state (NSW) & Played for & captained Australia in the half & hooker position. He played for the London Broncos in the English Super League as well as playing Rugby Union for Italy & French club Bayonne at the Fly half position. Craig played over 319 first grade Rugby League games, 23 games for Australia, 6 games for NSW, 5 Games for NSW City, 71 First Grade Rugby Union games & 17 times for Italy Rugby Union. Rest in Peace, Sir Colin Meads By Sir Peter Leitch T WAS with great sadness on Sunday morning that I got a phone call from Sir Colin Meads’ family to say Ithat he had passed away. We all know Sir Colin (Pine Tree) was a famous All Black - number 583 - who made 55 test appearances for the All Blacks, and went on to be captain. He also played 139 games for King Country, and who knows how many for his beloved local team Waitete. We all also know what a great man he was, but what a lot of people don't know, is the great charity work he has done over many years. We had been mates for more years than I care to remember, and I witnessed many charity events he did, some of them even alongside me. He did some TV commercials too, and donated the money to charity. One example of a charity he supported was IHC, where he was involved for more than 40 years. There is nothing I can add to everything that is being said, and I don’t want to, because I am feeling the great loss of a close and dear friend.

Luckily that day I was able to do both.” Berrigan, who was also a member of the 5 2000 premiership team, was joined on stage by teammates Petero Civoniceva, Justin Hodges and Ben Hannant and interviewed by MC Ben Ikin, also a Broncos premiership winner form 2000.
