  • Disney College Program: Valuable Experience Or Trivial Job
DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM: VALUABLE EXPERIENCE OR TRIVIAL JOB By Caitlyn Alexis Teng A capstone project submitted for Graduation with University Honors May 12, 2017 University Honors University of California, Riverside APPROVED _________________________________ Dr. Sean D. Jasso Department of Business Administration _________________________________ Dr. Richard Cardullo, Howard H Hays Jr. Chair and Faculty Director, University Honors Interim Vice Provost, Undergraduate Education Abstract This paper aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and companies with insight on what governs a beneficial, successful, and effective internship program. It will apply its findings to Walt Disney Corporation’s College Program to analyze their strengths and weaknesses. It will consider factors, such as corporate culture, compensation programs, and personal development opportunities. The paper will be guided by three principal questions- What constitutes a well-developed internship program? Is Disney exercising effective strategies to produce diligent workers? How do internship programs indirectly and directly affect corporations? For college students, an internship is a way to gain experience, but it is important to know what kind of experience that they would value. The primary objective of this paper is to provide a framework for what students should look for in an internship and what type of internship experience that corporations should provide. I believe that my research will reaffirm that internships should be more than about making money and establishing a job, but also concerned with adding value to individuals. Moreover, I expect to find that Disney has a thriving program since it is a well sought after internship. Lastly, this paper will provide a comprehensive study on the setbacks and benefits of participating in the Disney College Program.

  • The Disney Bloodline
Get Your Free 150 MB Website Now! THE SKILL OF LYING, THE ART OF DECEIT The Disney Bloodline The Illuminati have refined the art of deception far beyond what the common man has imagined. The very life & liberty of humanity requires the unmasking of their deceptions. That is what this book is about. Honesty is a necessary ingredient for any society to function successfully. Deception has become a national pastime, starting with our business and political leaders and cascading down to the grass roots. The deceptions of the Illuminati's mind-control may be hidden, but in their wake they are leaving tidal waves of distrust that are destroying America. While the CIA pretend to have our nations best interest at heart, anyone who has seriously studied the consequences of deception on a society will tell you that deception will seriously damage any society until it collapses. Lies seriously damage a community, because trust and honesty are essential to communication and productivity. Trust in some form is a foundation upon which humans build relationships. When trust is shattered human institutions collapse. If a person distrusts the words of another person, he will have difficulty also trusting that the person will treat him fairly, have his best interests at heart, and refrain from harming him. With such fears, an atmosphere of death is created that will eventually work to destroy or wear down the cooperation that people need. The millions of victims of total mind- control are stripped of all trust, and they quietly spread their fears and distrust on a subconscious level throughout society.

Outside, rows of green crops flickered as we drove past — a boring view to some, but it made me want to bounce in my seat. It meant we were one-third of the way to Disneyland. “Are you okay back there, Casey?” My mom twisted around to see if I’d managed to smash my skull open while buckled into the backseat of a sedan. “I heard a clunk.” “Don’t worry, she’s got a hard head,” my dad said, clearly amusing himself. He said that every time my mom overreacted to a minor injury. “Maybe you ought to wear a helmet on the next trip, Acacia.” He glanced at me in the rearview mirror, and I pretended I was fixing my ponytail instead of rubbing my forehead.

Comic books have rarely been treated as a serious art form or cultural phenomenon. It used to be that creating a comic book would be considered shameful or something done only as side work. Beginning in the 1990s, some comic creators were able to leverage enough cultural capital to influence more media. In the post-9/11 world, generic elements of superheroes began to resonate with audiences; superheroes fight against injustices and are able to confront the evils in today’s America. This has created a billion dollar, Oscar-award-winning industry of superhero movies, as well as allowed created comic book careers for artists and writers.
