IN-HOME “PiKLE” PARTY TRAINING

The following are some suggestions on how to have a successful “In A Pikle” party. Remember to be professional, make new friends and have fun!

Before the Party! Make sure you arrive a ½ hour early so you have plenty of time to set up your display, answer last minute questions from your hostess and be ready to welcome your first guest. When the guests arrive encourage them to take a look at your display, grab some food and get ready for a fun night.

Display! There are some great examples of displays that people have uploaded on the Pikle Professional page. Keep it simple! IAP has done a great job providing us the tools that make our display look professional. Don’t forget booking boards with your “available party dates” and also lapboards for your guests. Each lapboard should have a wish list, opportunity brochure and monthly customer special. Save the catalogs until the end of your presentation so they focus on you and not the catalog while you are talking.

Introduction! Ask your hostess to please have her guests be seated and introduce you so you may begin your presentation. Take a brief moment to thank your hostess and introduce yourself. Ask each guest to introduce themselves and how they know the hostess.

“P” is for…Personal Problem Solver! The “In A Pikle” is a personal problem solver. *Practical…it looks like a fashionable wallet or clutch but is filled with all kinds of practical items. Every day we have little emergencies (name a few common ones). You may have a few solutions in your big bag of tricks, but can you find them when you need them! (Prop idea. Have an old purse with a pack of baby wipes, full size hand sanitizer, big bottle of Tylenol, big box of tissues, hand mirror, dental floss, etc.) *Pik your Pikle…The “In A Pikle” bag comes in lots of cute colors and styles. “K” is for…all kinds of handy items. (Game idea: Ask guests to pull out their purses. Name off each item in the Starter Pak and give a ticket for each item they have in their purse. The person with the most tickets wins!) Share that all the items you just mentioned come in the Starter Pak available in the “complete Pikle”. I love verbiage like “All of you have been routing around at the bottom of your purse for these items. When you purchase your complete Pikle or Bundle you will get all these little gems to solve life’s little emergencies. Better than that, they are all neatly and conveniently organized in clear, zippered pouches for easy access. Show how they can expand for more or less contents. *Discuss other ways to use the “In A Pikle” cover. (Kid’s activity Pikle, jewelry holder, coupons, diabetes, first aid kit, fishing tackle, etc.)

“L” is for…Like It; Love it, Can’t Live without it! *This little organizer is the perfect companion to your purse or box…or both! *You will love all the colors and styles; there is something for everyone! You will love pulling it out of your purse, feeling prepared and solving emergencies in style! *One you have a “Pikle” bag, you’ll wonder how you ever survived without it! We know LIFE IS CRAZY and now you can “DILL WITH IT!” Mention if you need more room we have a Bundle that holds even more contents. Discuss the changing mat and baby pak available! *HELP WANTED SIGN! (You may or may not choose to say this. Sometimes it makes people delay their purchase where if they believe the party is closing that night they don’t procrastinate and will order then.) *If someone wants to take a catalog offer the “mini” version and tell them you reserve the full sized for your shows only. *Have your guests fill out the “wish list” located in their lapboard and mention again where they can find the monthly customer special. *Pass out the catalogs and mention as they make their decision they can write it on the wish list.
