FACILITIES SERVICES STANDARD PRACTICE
TITLE: INSTRUCTION NUMBER: Classroom Maintenance 30-3012
I. PURPOSE
The purpose of this FSSP is to outline Facilities Services responsibilities regarding classroom maintenance.
II. PROCEDURES
A. Facilities Services shall provide the following services:
1. Maintenance to the real property (walls, floors, window blinds, chalk boards – not dry erase boards, fixed pencil sharpeners, ceilings, lights, light controls, and power outlets).
2. Standard electrical power to motorized projection screens.
3. Maintenance of fixed seating.
4. Maintenance of fixed podiums and standard electrical power to fixed podiums.
5. Capital project management that creates "Smart Classrooms" and coordinates warranty work for the warranty period.
B. ITCS is responsible for network connections up through data ports.
C. Questions regarding movable furniture, fixed equipment (such as non- motorized projector screens), and fixed electronic equipment (including cabling, mounted LCD projectors, and motorized projection screens) should be directed to Academic Affairs.
