The severe cold temperatures are expected to subside throughout the Nicor Gas service territory and therefore, Nicor Gas is removing its declaration of Critical Day beginning for the Gas Day of Thursday, January 8, 2015.

Nicor Hub interruptible storage withdrawal services will be available and injection services can continue.

Shippers are encouraged to maintain a reasonable level of deliveries to the Nicor Gas system in order to satisfy their customer requirements. Nicor Gas will continue to monitor the demand forecasts on its system. Shippers are encouraged to check the Nicor Gas Bulletin Board frequently for updates. The Company has declared a Critical Day for the Gas Day beginning at 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 and it is anticipated to continue until further notice. Nominations for the Critical Day will be accepted by the Company up until 8:00 am Central Standard Time of the Critical Day. During the Critical Day, customers are limited to storage withdrawals and Company supplies based on their applicable tariffs and contracted quantities.

The Critical Day is being called as a result of forecasted severe cold weather throughout the Nicor Gas service territory.

Customers and shippers should refer to their particular rate and tariff for specific language related to the applicability and charges for Unauthorized Use. Customers should note that the charges for Unauthorized Use may be significant. Additionally, Requested Authorized Use will not be available.

Nicor Hub interruptible withdrawal services will not be available. Injections will be accepted.

We are providing this notice so shippers will be prepared to make arrangements in the event further action is required. Nicor Gas will make every effort to afford shippers as much notice as possible of any changes. We encourage shippers to closely monitor the Nicor Gas Bulletin Board for changes.
