Professional Interests Teaching how to teach mathematics incorporating the CCSSM Standards, technology, cultural relevancy and manipulatives. Becoming aware of various approaches to teaching and learning to enables teachers to facilitate learning more effectively. Integration of mathematics and other subjects throughout the curriculum is important in the 21st century, but a necessity for today’s multifaceted, global learner. In addition to mathematics education, I also enjoy teaching how to incorporate the various forms of technology for the tech savvy learner in today’s classroom.
