1.3 SUBMITTALS

1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE

4.A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum five years experience in producing site furnishings of the type specified.

4.B. Installer Qualifications: All products listed in this section are to be installed by a single installer with a minimum of five years demonstrated experience in installing products of the same type and scope as specified.

4.C. Single Source Responsibility: 4.C.1. Obtain each type and color of stone from a single source. 4.C.2. Obtain each type and color of mortar, adhesive and grout from the same source.

4.D. Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship. 4.D.1. Locate mock-up in location as directed by the Architect. 4.D.2. Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship, color, and sheen are approved by Architect. 4.D.3. Mock-up area may become part of finished work. 4.D.4. 1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

PART 3 EXECUTION

3.1 EXAMINATION

1.A. Acceptability of Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to receive products and verify that surfaces are free of conditions that could result in an unsatisfactory installation.

3.2 PREPARATION

2.A. Layout: Determine locations products before starting work.

3.3 INSTALLATION

3.A. Install site furnishings in accordance with manufacturer's installation instructions and in proper relationship with adjacent construction. Adjust until satisfactory results are achieved.

3.B. Install level, plumb, square, accurately aligned, correctly located as indicated, and without warp. Use hardware and fasteners acceptable to manufacturer.

3.4 CLEANING AND PROTECTION

4.A. Cleaning: Clean products using materials recommended by manufacturer.

4.B. Protection: Protect from construction dirt and debris with heavy-duty, non-staining construction paper, masked in place.
