CALL TO ORDER

Mr. Strouse called the meeting to order at 9:24 a.m.

The minutes were amended due to Mr. Sparco’s name not in the minutes as being present at the meeting. A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sparco, to approve the June 6, 2007 meeting minutes as amended. The motion was unanimously carried.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Discussion: Strategic Planning This discussion was tabled because a full Board was not present.

Review of Examination Application A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sparco, to approve the exam application for Kevin G. Miller. The motion was unanimously carried.

Compliance to Continuing Education Audit The Board received an email from Gregory Green stating that he no longer needs his electrical license. Due to a continuing education audit problem, a motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sharp, to consider his license expired and notify the inspection agencies. The motion was unanimously carried.

Motion to Reopen Regarding Revocation of Albert Mancini A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sharp, to suspend Mr. Mancini’s license until he shows proof of insurance coverage at the time of renewal. The motion was unanimously carried.

NEW BUSINESS

Review of Reciprocity Applications A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Stokes, to approve the applications by reciprocity of Tom W. Anton, Anthony Ciarlante, Richard H. Janson, Bernard R. Atkins, Richard A. Bowen, William R. Sorber, and Robert Boyd. The motion was unanimously carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Stokes to propose-to-deny the application of David W. Carmona due to Mr. Carmona only having five years of experience. The motion was unanimously carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Stokes to table the application of Stephan W. Hanson pending receipt of letters of good standing. The motion was unanimously carried.

Review of Examination Application A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sparco, to approve the master exam applications of Joseph J. Bill, Francis M. Clymer, Lawrence K. Rose, James F. Fitzsimmons lll and Douglas A. Brown. The motion was unanimously carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sparco to propose-to-deny the application of Douglas A. Brown due to his criminal report. The motion was unanimously carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sparco to table the application of Constantin D. Ionits pending verification of six years experience under supervision. The motion was unanimously carried. Delaware Board of Electrical Examiners Minutes – July 9, 2007 Page 3

A motion was made by Mr. Stokes, seconded by Mr. Sharp, to approve the limited exam applications of Dexter G. Burton and Robert J. Remo. The motion was unanimously carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Stokes, seconded by Mr. Sharp to propose-to-deny the application of Timothy D. Wisk due to lack of years of experience. The motion was unanimously carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Stokes, seconded by Mr. Sharp to table the application of Michael T. Cannon due to application not being notarized, penalties, and apprenticeship certificate. The motion was unanimously carried.

Status of Complaints A motion was made by Mr. Stokes, seconded by Mr. Sparco, to approve the consent agreements for Complaint #01-09-06 and Complaint #01-11-06. The motion was unanimously carried.

The Board scheduled a hearing for September 5, 2007 for Complaint #01-03-07.

Mr. Marks was assigned as the contact person for Complaints #01-07-07, #01-08-07, and #01- 09-07.

Complaint # 01-05-07 was closed due to referral to J P Court.

Review of Inspector Application A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sparks, to approve the application of William J. Fibelkorn, Jr. for inspector. The motion was unanimously carried.

Reactivation of License A motion was made by Mr. Sparco, seconded by Mr. Sharp, to table the application of Paul Lamanna, Sr. pending receipt of proof of insurance and continuing education. The motion was unanimously carried.

Election of Officers A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sparco, to table election of officers until September 5, 2007 because a full Board was not in attendance. The motion was unanimously carried.

OTHER BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD (for discussion only)

There was no other business before the Board.

There was no public comment.

NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING

The next scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 8:30 a.m., in Conference Room A.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Sharp to adjourn. The motion was unanimously carried. The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 noon.
