This Paper Must Be Kept in Your Notebook

Notebook Check (This paper must be kept in your notebook) Counts as a quiz.

Your notebook should be kept in numerical order according to the Table of Contents. Each page should be dated, numbered in the upper right hand corner and have a title.

Page 1 – Title Page (name, period, and chapter) Decorate cover with what reminds you of the chapter-a picture or pictures of what the chapter meant to you. They can be hand drawn (with color) or computer generated. Page 2 – Table of Contents (Each line has the title, date, and page number) This is to help you keep your notes and homework assignments in order. A table of contents will be posted in class. Pages 3 + - Your notes and assignments in numerical order. Included in your notebook check should be all notes taken in class (everything that is written on the whiteboard or Smartboard must be included in your notes and you may also take other notes during class), responses to the “Do Now”, all homework assignments (including any notes you take while reading from your text), quizzes, and any handouts given in class. All entries should be numbered in upper right corner and dated according to the Table of Contents.

Assessment – I will collect your chapter notebook a few days after the chapter test. It will be graded according to the rubric below.
