The Executive Board has approved the following senior appointments with effect from 1.7.17:

(a) Capt Michael Chi Pui CHAN, MBS, MBB, GMSM, AE, elected member of the Executive Board, as Commandant, in the rank of Air Commodore. On assuming the appointment Air Cdre CHAN will become an ex-officio member of the Executive Board;

(b) Hon Gp Capt Alfred Kwok Chiu CHAN, BBS, MH, JP, Senior Honorary Officer, to the newly established position of Honorary Air Commodore. Hon Air Cdre CHAN will remain an elected member of the Executive Board until the end of his current two-year term; and

(c) Hon Wg Cdr Patrick Ka Wing MAK, to assume the post of Senior Honorary Officer in the rank of Honorary Group Captain. Hon Gp Capt MAK will be appointed a member of the Executive Board at its next meeting to fill a casual vacancy until the Annual General Meeting 2017, at which he will stand for election.
