SATURDAY 7:oo am Team prayer service led by Lay Dir. 1. Lay Dir. leads team in prayer Scripture Song - Liturgist Procession with the Blessed Sacrament to the Chapel.

8:00 am Arrival/Greeting of participants

Greeters: Wait two at a time by parking lot – Tag team relay when greeter arrives in designated area with participant. A couple team members stay in dining area to greet attendees. We are here to welcome Jesus’ guests to make them feel at home  Carry bags and escort participants to beds to stow gear  Escort to dining hall  Help participant find name tag  Introduce them to someone there to help them find food  Return to greet more participants

8:30 am Welcome by Father. All gather in Witness Room

8:40 am Opening by Spiritual Dir. Participant prayer requests Brian is introduced.

8:55 am Orientation remarks by Lay Dir. Welcome Name Tags Applause (explain hand waving applause) Eating and Drinking and Smoking Meals, Bathrooms, Sleeping Area, Witness Room, Chapel Schedule, no need for watches Participation in everything and will expand on as time goes on Emergencies Confidentiality (very important) *Send witness to change clothes and go to chapel Introductions: Name, spouse name, children, occupation, length of time at parish. (Expedited Quickly)

9:40 am Bible Enthronement explained by Lay Dir. and then carried out: Song: Team members Carries Cross (……), Bible (…..), candle ( …… ) and reads scripture (…..) and invites sharing. (Team members should be prepared to reflect on scripture in case participants don’t but allow time for the Spirit to work)

Christ Candle explained by Lay Dir. – each table sends a participant up to light their candle from the Christ light of the bible enthroned. All pray at their table after the candles have been lit – Lay Dir. leads the Our Father. 9:50 *Get witness from chapel 9:50 am Quick bathroom Break( 5 minutes)

10:00 am Witness on Renewal - ( ……)

Lay Dir. remind all of confidentiality and note taking is encouraged and after witnesser’s song you may affirm witnesser 1. Introduce witness 2. Witness enter with Spiritual Dir. and takes candle from facilitator 3. Light candle from enthronement candle and place on table by podium 4. Witnesser kneels in front of podium Spiritual Dir. lays on hands and prays 5. Witness followed by Song 6. Affirmations 7. At conclusion Lay Dir. explains why dressed up.

10:30 am Table Sharing and prayer (last 10 minutes) 1. What renewal experience have you had in your life? 2. Do you feel that you need spiritual renewal?

10:40 am Workshop – Lay Dir. explains and assignments given: Poster, Song, Poem, or Skit.

11:00 am Table presentations Table comes to the front when called by Lay Dir. Each person states their name followed by applause Presentation Applaud again after presentation Facilitators to hang posters etc.

11:25 am Break – Lay Dir. - tell tables to be thinking of a table name at break *Send New Life witness to change and go to chapel Break together as a table. Suggest bring snacks to table to discuss name after stretching and bathroom break. * Get Witness Song: background music playing 11:35 Get witness from Chapel 11:40 am Table names shared – Lay Dir. to facilitate 1. 4:45 pm Presentations (Send Witness to Change and go to chapel) 4:55 pm Lay Dir. explain One-on-One Sharing/Break Participants pair off with someone that they do not know and leave the meeting room. (Stop and get a snack before going off) Each speaks for 10 minutes while the other listens (bell will ring when time to switch). Share on the following 2 questions:

1. Where am I right now spiritually? 2. What is my present relationship with Jesus?

7:55 pm Reconciliation Witness – Father Spiritual Dir. Pass out Personal Commitment Sheets (make sure to have copies for all attendees a few extra) and explain what to do with them (also give one to each confessor and explain they can use the scriptures on the personal commitment as penance).This is a period of silence and reverence. Contemplative music in Blessed Sacrament Chapel, turn off when chapel empties out

8:40 pm Reconciliation – as long as it takes. Attendees can spread out in worship area and remain reverent and go to confession on their own Sacristan and helpers set up for mass in church

9:40 pm Lay Dir. introduce Teen Witness on Eucharist – (…….)from the Ambo on the alter

10:10 pm Mass (follows Sunday liturgy and Dr. John Paul Cappa to do music, songs and service music with the help of the Liturgist/Sacristan as needed) Entrance Song First Reading by – Team Member Psalm Read by- Team Member Second Reading by- Team Member Gospel Creed and Intercessions (……….) Liturgy of the Eucharist-Sacristan pick attendees to bring up gifts before mass Communion Song – One Bread, One Body Lay Dir. explain bedding down and quiet in sleeping areas, talk in the dinning hall and snacks there, bathrooms use any and all including women’s Closing Song Snacks after Mass if desired.

SUNDAY

7:30 am Breakfast Spiritual Dir. ask a participant to do a spontaneous grace, and ask another for thanksgiving after Select 4 participants for Bible Enthronement *Witness go to chapel 8:15 am Bible Enthronement

Sacristan pick participants at breakfast for enthronement (Cross, Bible, and candle) Liturgist pick song for us to sing along Team member Scripture reading (silent reflection unless someone feels moved to share) *Get Witness from chapel 8:30 am Witness on Scripture – (……..) 1-7 same as last witnesser

9:10 am Table sharing and prayer (15 minutes) 1. How familiar are you with scripture? 2. Share any scriptures you have?

9:25 am Workshop Assigns, poem, song, skit or poster

9:40 am Presentations *Send witness to change and visit chapel

9:55 am Break for participants Team goes to chapel prior to pray for Father’s Loving Care Witness (don’t all go at one time just slowly move that way during break; also help with help letters posters etc.)

10:15 am Witness on Father’s Loving Care – (…….) 1-7 same as last witnesser , except Lay Dir. in intro explains why team l left and Lay Dir. and all participants pray over Witness

11:00 am Spiritual Dir. to explain H.E.L.P (team will be in storage room with help letters) He will read some selected general HELP letters. Spiritual Dir. asks team to bring out the letters and deliver to the attendees and team Reading of HELP at tables – background music in witness room and CRHP chapel OPTIONAL: Table Leaders – after they have had at least 15 minutes to read, take you team to the CRHP chapel and pray together as a table (look around so all tables are not going at the same time – let the spirit guide you as to how long you remain about two or three minutes *Send next witness to change and go to chapel Spiritual Dir. announce a short break and explain no lunch, dinner at about 3, but there are sandwiches on the snack table to hold you over if you need them. If you leave be back by 11:55 (or whatever time it is by then)*Get witness from chapel

12:00 Witness on Discipleship – (……..) 1-7 same as last witnesser except intro by Spiritual Dir. and he will ask team to come up and lay hands on with him over Witness

12:45 pm Spiritual Dir. lead sharing experience on team formation Ask other team member who want to share briefly their experience to come up and do so Spiritual Dir. – let attendees know we would like all to return on Thursday evening January 22 for what we call the Evening of Discipleship (explain it is a special part of the weekend and will allow all of you’re the chance to share your experience with the team and the other attendees in a special way – this will be the first reminder and Lay Dir. will remind again at the closing)

1:45 Sacristan set up chapel for Foot washing and communion service (check with Luther Friday afternoon for towels, pitchers, and bowls while we are setting up for the weekend) in the chapel have two trays of hosts and select two Ems from the team (Father will give them communion first) Spiritual Dir. reflects on Last Supper (show gospel movie) and have them share a few minutes at their tables, then ask what they noticed) remind them to bring their belongings and personal commitment sheet filled out with them to chapel, lead them to the chapel mention using the bathrooms on the way.

2:00 pm Foot washing and communions Service 1. Liturgist – Pick an opening song 2. Father David - Opening remarks 3. Participant to read the Holy Thursday Gospel (Sacristan select participant sometime at breakfast or break to read the Holy Thursday Gospel, Spiritual Dir. will give you a copy to give to the participant) 4. Spiritual Dir. explain the process for the washing of the feet ceremony (order unless Father changes it, He will do the feet of the Lay Director and Spiritual Director, they will take over and then start to do participants, they can pass towels back to team members to take over for them; lastly the team get feet washed) 5. Liturgist – pick a pre communion song (if you want to repeat one bread, one body that’s okay) 6. Father – lead us in the Lord’s prayer and sign of peace, give two Ems communion they will take positions on opposite sides of chapel. Participants come up to center and read personal commitment to Father then receive communion and return to seats. (Liturgist put on chant music in background during communion distribution) Then team goes to communion. Quiet reflection and chant for a few minutes. Father final prayer and his blessing. 7. Liturgist – Pick a closing song

3:00 pm Lay Dir. lead all back to music room (tell them we will break shortly so please go straight to the music room. Lay Dir. to make closing remarks Remind them about the Evening of Discipleship on January 22 at 7PM  Instruct them to bring bibles and personal commitment sheets  Repeat about confidentiality of witnesses shared and heard  Encourage all to share their joy of the weekend with their families an friends  Have them put their Bibles, help letters, folder and personal items in their luggage and then go back in the chapel

3:15 pm Dinner – Lay Dir. lead them to dinner

3:45 pm Family, Friends and past CRHP ‘ers arrive for closing in main church.

4:00 pm Facilitator collect name tags and pass out song sheets for entry to the church, Sacristan have participants take cross, bible, all candles (route is outside from music room in from outside through the youth room and line up in the hallway between the classrooms) once we are lined up we will starting singing and process into the church. Have candles and bible placed on the altar, set up cross on its stand in front of the altar. Lay Dir. go to ambo and welcome all guest and introduce to what may eventually become Men’s fourth CRHP team along with other remarks as you see fit.
