1. Did you know that the Neptune Marching Band participated in the USBANDS Yamaha Cup on October 5th at MetLife Stadium? 2. Did you know that William Lee was accepted to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University? William will be pursuing a BS in Aerospace Engineering. 3. Did you know that Allison Moen was accepted to Coastal Carolina University? 4. Did you know that Tara Maniaci was accepted to Rider University? Tara signed a letter of intent to swim for the Rider swim team. Tara was awarded $$27,500 in scholarships and grants to attend Ricer University. 5. Did you know that Shamier Mckenzie was invited to attend the annual four day engineering seminar at Rutgers University hosted by the Minority Engineer Educational Task? 6. Did you know that the NJROTC held their annual inspection? 7. Did you know that the Peer Leadership Council hosted their 8th annual Candlelight Vigil? The Vigil helps to raise awareness to the dangers of drunk & drugged driving, especially during the Holiday Season. 8. Did you know that the Freshmen Class collected turkey dinners for families in need during the Thanksgiving Holiday? 9. Did you know that the Friends Helping Fliers organization raised nearly $2400 to help two families facing hard times? The fundraising was co-sponsored by the Asbury/Wall Elks Club. 10. Did you know that Kimberley Michaels is included in the “Best Players in USSSA Fast Pitch Softball” publication? The players featured in the book are considered the best players currently playing USSSA Softball in the United States. 11. Did you know that the NHS Deaf Education students hosted their annual Deaf Education Leadership Summit? Forty students from around the state attended the Leadership Summit. 12. Did you know that Alyssa Pojero was accepted to Misericordia University and will be playing soccer for the Misericordia Cougars? 13. Did you know that Destiny Boynton was accepted to Virginia State University? 14. Did you know that Chynna Foster was accepted to North Carolina Central University & Clark Atlanta University? 15. Did you know that Gyse Pierce was accepted to Virginia State University? 16. Did you know that Bianca Infante was accepted to Delaware State University and Virginia State University? 17. Did you know that Deion Johnson was accepted to Virginia State University? 18. Did you know Jordyn Postell was accepted to North Carolina Central University and Alabama A & M University? 19. Did you know that Maya Thompson was accepted to Virginia State University and Coppin State University? 20. Did you know that Jada Wood was accepted to University of Maryland Eastern Shore?
