SCHOOL MINISTER Attention Freshmen Father Check is looking for volunteers to serve School Masses. No experience is necessary. If you are interested, please see Father to sign up.

Mass will be offered today at 5th period in the Chapel.

GUIDANCE Juniors and Seniors who are taking the SAT test tomorrow at Father Judge High School are reminded to bring your Photo I.D. and your admission ticket.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY Attention Seniors and Juniors Applications are still available in the Student Affairs Office. Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 90% to be considered for selection as a member of the Thomas E. Cahill Chapter of the National Honor Society. If you have not already attended the MANDATORY informational NHS meeting, there will be a meeting held on Monday, October 3rd in Rm. 39 after 8th period.

WRESTLING Work-outs, lifts and runs for the wrestling team will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays in the Annex. If you're interested in joining the team, attend the work-outs and talk to Mr. Gault. If you're playing a Fall sport you can still wrestle once your Fall season is over.

OPEN GYM Every Friday from 3-4PM, there will be open gyms for basketball.

FATHER’S CLUB The Roman Catholic Father’s Club invites the entire Roman Community for an afternoon of Paint Ball. Cost is $50 per person and will be held on Sunday, November 13, at Crusader Paintball in Fairless Hills. Payment and wavers are due by October 1. Please see flyer posted around school or go to the Father’s Club link on the Roman home page. If you have any questions see Mr. Sinclair in Room 4.

FALL DATE DANCE RCHS Fall Date Dance will take place on Saturday, October 8th. Information sheets and permission forms are available in the Student Affairs Office. Completed permission forms need to be approved in the Student Affairs Office before buying your tickets in the Financial Affairs Office. All tickets need to be purchased by the end of the day on Wednesday, October 5th.

COMMUMITY SERVICE CORPS (CSC) Attention all students!! We will be kicking off the Peanut Butter and Jelly drive on Monday, October 3rd!! Please bring your peanut butter and jelly in anytime from October 3rd to October 24th! The locations for PB & J collection will be in Student Services, Student Affairs and the Main Office. The Peanut Butter and Jelly collection benefits the Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese. Thank you for your help!!

TV STUDIO There will be a meeting afterschool on Monday, October 3rd in the library for anyone interested in becoming part of the TV Crew. See Dr. Beach with any questions.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION The Alumni Association is asking for everyone's support for their Fall Clean Up Initiative at River Field on Saturday October 15 from 9am - 2pm. This is a perfect opportunity for students to accumulate some of their required service hours while devoting their time to a good cause. Permission forms and a signup sheet are available in the Student Affairs Office. Any student wishing to participate must bring their signed permission form with them on the day of the clean-up. ROMAN RUN 2016 We're excited to announce that the 2016 Roman Run 5K (3.1 miles) will take place on October 9, 2016 on the historic Boat House Row! ASIAN ARTS INITIATIVE

Our annual Pearl Street Block Party is coming up on Saturday, October 8th. It's our biggest event of the year and we'll be hosting performers, activities, etc. On the day-of, we could use some volunteers (in two shifts: 10am-2pm and 2pm-6pm) to help.

UNDERCLASSMEN YEARBOOK PORTRAITS

Underclassman yearbook portraits will be taken next week in the gym during all the lunch periods. Order forms and information were distributed in homerooms. Students are asked to bring these order forms and note containing information home and discuss with your parents/guardians. Please return your order form with the money to the Lifetouch representative at the time your portrait is taken.

Junior portraits will be taken on Monday, October 3. Sophomore portraits will be taken on Tuesday, October 4. Freshman portraits will be taken on Wednesday, October 5. Students are reminded to ensure that your hair is neatly groomed and that you are cleanly shaven. You will be required to have your portrait taken in your WINTER UNIFORM. Please remember to wear shirt, tie, and sweater on the day that your portraits are scheduled.
