Friends of Rydell and Glacial Ridge National Wildlife Refuges Association (FRGRRA) 2017 paid summer internship!!

We are hiring a Visitor Services Intern for a 12-week period beginning in mid- to late May. Primary duties include: environmental education and interpretation, administering refuge tours, designing and implementing special programs and promoting our Gift Shop. With guidance from the Friends group, this position will also be responsible for proactively pursuing membership and fundraising activities. Bring your ideas and passion for natural resources, and let us help you develop skills in Visitor Services, outdoor education, and interpretive events. You will help shape the visitor experience at our wildlife refuges!

Your office will be at the Rydell National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. You will enjoy many opportunities for outdoor work in addition to your primary duties. In addition to salary and benefits, this position offers free housing on the refuge for the term of the internship.
