Headcount cut as companies rush to automate IT, 4 out of top 6 report decline Four out of top six Indian software services companies have reported a decline in their headcount in the September quarter. The companies are Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and Tech Mahindra. The two outliers — Tata Consultancy Services and HCL Technologies have shown a very small increase in the numbers.
