THE ROSEMARIE SENA SCHOLARSHIP IN ENGLISH

This award is designed to recognize and encourage excellence in English studies. To be eligible for this award, the applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in English at Ohio State. The recipient of this award will receive an invitation to the English Department’s annual awards ceremony, which will take place in late April, and a $500 tuition scholarship. 1. A personal statement (approximately 750 words) about your ambitions, plans, goals, background, and any other information that you think would assist the committee in judging your application. Be sure to include your name on this document.

2. A brief but full description of how you have been and are currently supporting your undergraduate education financially. Be as specific as possible. Be sure to include your name on this document.

3. Letters of recommendation from two course instructors. Course instructors are welcome to submit these letters via e-mail to Ruth Friedman, Department of English, [email protected].
