INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Expression of Interest Form 2017
In order to be considered for this scholarship, candidates MUST submit the following documents by 17th March 2017.
1) University of Chester International Application Form with all supporting documents to [email protected]. The application form can be accessed via http://www.chester.ac.uk/international/apply
2) Completed Expression of Interest Form to [email protected]
3) Online Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Commission application via the Electronic Application System (EAS) which can be accessed via http://cscuk.dfid.gov.uk/apply/eas/applicants/shared-scholarships/
Failure to submit both application forms and completed Expression of Interest Form by the stated deadline will result in your application being ineligible for this scholarship. Please note, in order to be considered for the scholarship you must hold an unconditional offer letter to study at the University of Chester.
To be eligible for this Scholarship, candidates must:
Be a Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British protected person; Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country; Be available to start your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September/October 2017; By August 2017, hold a first degree at either first-class or upper second-class level
OR
By August 2017, hold a first degree at either lower-second class classification plus a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
Meet the University’s English Language entry criteria for postgraduate study;
Not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a developed country;
Be unable themselves, or through their families, to pay to study in the UK;
Return to their home country as soon as their award comes to an end;
